“Stopped for an evening meal on our way from Kings Canyon to Merced. Was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, don't be put off by the location next to a gas station. Very friendly and attentive staff and good food.Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options.”

“Authentic Mexican food AND terrific Pizza, burgers, fries etc. I'm typically skeptical of a restaurant that has such a diverse menu... They almost always compromise the quality to produce quantity. Not Pedro's! Everything is great. There's something for everyone and everything is deliciousVegetarian options: It's easy to sub beans for meat in any of their Mexican dishes. Most of their appetizers are meatless and they have some pretty outstanding cheese pizza! I'm about 80% meatless and I come here often.Kid-friendliness: I've been getting my step kids pizza here for years... Pizza, chicken strips, burger, fries, quesadilla. They've got it all.”

“I had a delicious lunch special, honey walnut prawns, vegetable chow mein, and pork fried rice, with a cup of egg flower soup. Delicious! Service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere was minimalist, but very clean and pleasant. I will definitely return again the next time I pass through Chowchilla.”

“I'm so excited that there is a new food truck in Madera for some seriously delicious pupusas! I've tried their bean and cheese and revuelta, both were amazing. They are about $5 each, pricier than some other spots, but their quality and size makes them more than worth it. I've also had the fried yuca with Chicharron which was also a very generous portion. The service is super friendly as well! Their food truck is on a main road (Cleveland in the Chevron parking lot) in Madera which is super convenient, but it's also awesome that they're on DoorDash. I will continue to stop by.”

“My favorite chili-verde in town. Rice and beans complement the meal. Great price, perfect portions. (I would get a plate for smaller portion or a burrito for a larger portion) Great service too!”

“I didn't realize the name of this roadside fruit stand and market was called Taco Truck. I pulled in on a whim and bought a few items. They has a decent selection of in season fruits and veggies and also many pickled offerings from local establishments.The clerk was friendly and answered questions about the local area (it feels very remote). After picking out my snack I headed down the road and watched the lonely scenery drift by the window.”

“It's a typical subway. The thing that sets this one apart are the owners. Very involved with the business and extremely easy to work with. They are behind the counter making sandwiches and very engaging with customers. Very kind, I recommend this location!”
