“I went to the Elk Grove location which is Hot Bunz 2. First thing I noticed was the blaring music which they did have good songs playing but way too loud to even have a conversation. The graffiti art work on the walls inside the restaurant are a decent touch to the place. The menu is super small and not overwhelming at all which is a good thing. The customer service is good and the staff was friendly and even gave recommendations for first timers. Although the food took quite a while to receive. They call the burgers "sliders" and they are far from being sliders. I ordered a meal that came with 2 sliders and each had double smashed patties. The sliders came with fresh grilled jalapenos and grilled onions with gooey cheese. Kinda similar to Animal Style burgers from In N Out. The fries are slightly battered, well seasoned and crispy and were good. You can add lettuce and tomatoes no extra charge which I'm doing next time. Oh, and the smashed patties had crispy edges which is ideal for this type of burger style. The bunz were nice and soft and I think they might be brioche buns. They have their own Special Sauce that reminds me of a Big Mac sauce but with no dice pickles, a lot thinner and more runny with a touch of sweetness. The meal I ordered will serve 2 sober customers or one hungry customer with the munchies . Drinks are sold separately. Now you can't compare this to In N Out because they are two different types of burgers. Is it good? Yes! Will I go back? Yes! Is it better than InNOut? I'll still eat at InNOut as well. You have to be the judge and go give it a try for yourself. The meal I ordered with taxes came to about $20. And I also took mine to go and left the lid open so the food didn't get soggy. I recommend eating it there for a better experience. Next time I'll order the 4x4 and a double on the side with their Frisky fries (Animal Style fries). “Girlfriend and I stopped by for a quick drink while waiting for our table for dinner at another restaurant nearby. The service was great, we were recommended a flight to try a few beers. “I don't often get to go inside In N Out restaurants but this time I was by myself, so I did. The building is clean top to bottom, the room is bright and inviting. Of course the food is always top notch and served fairly quickly. I had the Double Double burger with cheese and fries and a Cherry Coke at the fountain. We have all had the fast food drink experience where the carbonation to syrup was at bad ratios. But the Coke from the fountain here was excellent. Just another part of a great fast food experience.“

“We stop here frequently on our through-trips on I-5. It has become our go-to stop for food, drink, and walking the dogs. There is even a Petsmart across the parking lot if you forgot something. No matter how busy it gets, the staff is friendly, orders are accurate, and the food is perfect. On our last visit, Ashley was amazing taking our orders, and the the fries were possibly the best In N Out fries we have ever had! There is lots of parking, many shops nearby, and lots of good paths for walking dogs who have been cooped up in the car. If anyone in your party wants something besides burgers, there are tons of other options in the Delta Shores complex. It has easy freeway access, and it is conveniently outside the nightmare traffic zone of Sacramento, so if you are looking for a one-stop I-5 rest and food stop, that is safe, clean, spacious, and loaded with resources, this is the place! “This place was really tasty! Came here as a group of about 10. It was a pretty small place with mostly patio seating. The bathroom was in an out building out back. I had 3 tacos quesabarria, shrimp, and smoked brisket. I really enjoyed them all. I would have preferred a stronger smoke taste from the brisket. But the quesabarria was on point. The staff was awesome! Just a bunch of chill people working hard and slinging tacos.“

As I entered, the staff greeted me friendly and with a smile the place is very simple as you expect for a burger place. I ordered the double cheeseburger with fries, and that came out pretty fast. The meat was very juicy and very cheesy, just the way I like it almost the bun is pretty thick, which is good for some people and not good for me. Overall, the burger was good. The fries was cooked very good as well and I enjoyed it along with my burger. What I do like about this place is that the meat is Halal, which is a plus. It’s cash-only with outside dining. The lady that took our order was really nice and so was the man who handed our order to us.The sandwiches were great!! Like sooo good 10/10!! The buns used on the burgers are really good quality and hold up well and have a lovely bite to them. The burgers themselves were large and delicious!! “This is the first time I have been to 5 Guys. Their standard cheeseburgers come with two patties, about a 1/2 lb. There are Mini-Burgers which are just a single 1/4 lb patty. It is also far from mini and probably ideal for most. You then tell them what you want on it, and there is 'All the Way', which is eight condiments and toppings. There are a total of 15 condiments you can choose from.Their fries are a lot as they overfill the fries container into the paper bag holding your burgers.The meal is what I would call messy, overpacked delicious. as you bite into their burgers with the condiments falling out. Not a cheaper price burger, though, compared to many fast foods, but it is more appetizing. The service at this location is vibrant and cheerful, from taking the order to receiving it. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. The music is fast party music and louder. I enjoyed my time and dinner here. I will return.“

Portions for bbq are modest. I ordered a plate of 2 meats (there is an option for 3 meats).You can order chicken, pulled pork, hot links, brisket, ribs and tri-tip. The last three meats can only be ordered on the 3 item plate option.I ordered the hot links and pulled pork. The pulled pork needed some vinegar marinade. I am use to North Carolina and Texas pulled pork. The hot link was good and spicy, but there was only 1. Portions were lacking for price.My wife ordered the chicken and pulled pork. The sides she selected were the baked beans and potato salad. I sampled both the sides. The baked beans were unique. A cross between regular baked beans and sweet bbq sauce added. The potato salad was homemade. Big chunks of potato with a nice mix of onion, celery and mayo and other items. My sides were grilled asparagus (premium item add 2.00) and a salad with a vinaigrette dressing.Hot bread/buns were included.Drinks include fountain and beerIn all an ok experience.One of the big drawbacks was unlike other bbq restaurants, they only offered two different types of bbq sauce, smokey bbq and a spicy sauce. “Stopped by here for lunch with my mom. My first time trying this location. Service here is friendly and quick. We both got the original charburger, french fries and onion rings. I don't think I've tried onion rings with ranch dressing before. I usually just dip it with ketchup but it tasted good with ranch. The burgers here don't disappoint and always hits the spot. Tried the strawberry limeade drink and it tasted so refreshing. Overall, good food and service.“

The summer time can be hot but on nice mile days it's a treat to get a fresh cooked burger and fries ( however I highly recommend trying the onion rings).“
