Very, very good miso soup (best in the valley, in our opinion). This has a bit more traditional vibe especially with the sushi selection so if you're looking for goofy-named rolls that are deep-fried and loaded with cream cheese this isn't the place (though we really love that place too ). Kajima's is a peaceful environment, with polite and fast service, and excellent food. A real secret gem sushi place
Kijima is easily one of the best Japanese restaurants I've eaten in a while. Right off the bat, the atmosphere is warm and inviting while remaining calm and quiet. Our server was amazing! She was incredibly friendly throughout the entire meal and really made us feel welcome there. And the food was superb! We went here for a birthday and they had enough seating for our group of 8. I ordered the Mackerel Saba. It was perfect. They had plenty of roll options for us to try and they also had yakisoba on the menu, which my family loved.
