Great place. I give 4 stars for service because it’s an authentic German/European style restaurant & the fifth star is earned by the patron. Go in with an attitude in a hurry and you’ll not be a good customer and worth the stress. If you want to stop in for a Togo order, grab a spot at the bar, say hello, order a beer or non alcoholic beer. Wait for a menu and wait to order. They’ll take amazing care of you. Food excellant, service slowish but to be expected , fresh cooked meals and the place was packed on a Saturday. Great dinner and beer but were there for about 2 hours. Yes it was worth it, just was not expecting to be there so long. So be prepared for authentic food and enjoy yourselves. Our server was attentive and was alot of fun.

Best German / Czech food in the Bay Area!! Updating this as I am genuinely always happy to get a well made jaeger schnitzel (you can hear them pound it out in the kitchen!) and the mushroom sauce and spatzle. It’s in a little strip mall that you would overlook, but this family makes me miss my Bavarian roots. Go here and support a true local eatery. Don’t be in a rush, grab a beer and be patient and relax.
