Our server, Tory was so kind to us tonight. She went above and beyond for us making sure we had everything we needed. We have known her since she first started a few years back when Jason was the manager. Thank you so much for your kindness. You truly have a kind heart!

The food at Islands has always been incredibly filling and delicious. The drinks are just as perfect as the food. The "Hula" burger is my favorite along with the cheese fries. You can't beat those cheese fries. We have always had incredible service. The food and drinks always arrive quickly and delicious every time. It is never super busy here when we've come to eat. The bar area seems to be a hit at this location. This location has a lot of tv's and sports playing on them. It's not very loud at this location, which I love. You can still have a conversation and enjoy who you are with while enjoying your food. It is family-friendly and a great friend night location. I will be visiting this location again.

We came a month ago it was good, service was good, and it was a good overall experience. Came back tonight not so much. The manager was polite when we came in, got us seated right away, and our server was on it. After waiting at least 45 mins for our food. One burger came out without its onion rings. I agree may not be a big deal to you but to my husband it is. He needs alllll his food at one time. He was so upset after waiting that long for our two bugers (no apps) he sent it back. The manager said ok and then threw, yes threw the food on a table behind us. That is where my problem is. You are modeling appropriate and professional behavior and you getting pissed and throwing trays isn't it. My burger was well overdone although I ordered it medium rare. Nobody even came back to check that my food was OK and after her response I didn't dare let them know. When I walked out the Manger didn't say thanks have a good night nothing. To you I say grow up. You could have apologized and attempted to win back customers and you didn't. We will not be back and I am happy to share how disappointed I am with her response with my friends and family in the area.

Ordered the family ordered Malibu, Bluenami, Huli Huli, and truffle fries and they all were delicious. Our server Paige was great with refilling our drinks, givin g us sauces, and making sure we were okay. We will definitely be back to eat there again.

This review is all about Natalia.Me and my special daughter came in to Islands to have our usual father/daughter dinner. Natalia greeted us quickly and took our orders for drinks and food. She took extra time to listen to my daughter, who has Down Syndrome, and take her order. My daughter has a very quiet voice and Natalia took the extra time to listen and take the order.She took our order. The restaurant suddenly got very busy. Natalia made sure my daughters order was prepared quickly. My meal arrived almost 10 minutes later, not her fault. They were extremely busy.!BTW the food was ..... but the service made our experience stellar Management (Corona) will hopefully read this and forward this to Natalia. She needs to be recognized for what an asset to the restaurant/company she isWe'll be back AND Natalia is OUR server!

I can never get enough of islands I love all their burgers are so tasty they have great customer service I love their happy hour the bar is really big and people here always give you service with a big smile!!! You must come if you have not ate here the burgers especially the chicken teriyaki is my favorite I can't get enough of the fries!!!

So about a month ago we decided we were going to go to Islands restaurant for an early dinner. We arrived about 3:30 or so. We went up to the front counter and no one was there to seat us. No bell to ring, so we just waited and waited for someone to help us. Still nothing about 7 minutes of standing there, I decided to call the restaurant. After about 3/4 rings they answered and I said "is there anyone that can seat us, we've been here for over 7 minutes. They sent someone out and we were seated. The food was ok not as good as I had remembered. The waitress was attentive. All in all just ok.

Well I honestly do not know where to start! Apparently , I unknowingly came on a night with specials. After a two hour commute, I stopped to grab a bite with my son. We were told it would be a 20-25 minute wait at 7:05 pm which was fine . We sat , talked with others and watched many people leave! We just knew our name would be called soon , but after 30 minutes not a peep from the host. I inquired at 7:40 pm , as to how much longer the wait wound be. I was told we would be seated next & he( front desk host) went to find a table for us. Well , guess what - he never returned !!!! At 7:50, I asked why the wait was taking so long because the restaurant had cleared quite a bit and there were only 3 other couples waiting. The young lady couldn't care a less and said someone will be with you in a minute. She was understandably busy so again I waited. At 7:52 she flew by and said they were swamped due to a special they were having and the kitchen asked them not to seat any more patrons!!! I knew and agreed with her they were very busy , but I asked how long the kitchen would be closed and she said she couldn't give me an answer. It is now 7:53 , almost an hour wait and I was being told the kitchen was on a break and could not be seated. I asked to speak to a manager. Well- the manager came ready in full defense mode. She again explained they were busy and had to stop seating. I shook my head in agreement because that was not the issue . I could see they were slammed , however, it would have been nice for the manager to have listened for a minute instead of being in full on Perry Mason defense mode!!!!! I just wanted to ask how long the intermission would last because we were clocking a one hour wait and if it was going to be longer, we would leave. When she heard my request finally she said they would start seating again soon. That was it for me! My son and I had waited for one hour. If the staff had been honest from the start and simply communicated to the customers that they were extremely busy and the wait times would be upwards to an hour , we could've made an informed decision whether to stay or leave . Communication is key when you operate a business and customers always appreciate good , honest service. I do not feel that is too much to ask from an establishment , in a city where I live , raise my family and pay my taxes!!! This was an unfortunate experience and I'm deeply disappointed in the Islands Crew!

Islands Burgers are so much better tasting than all the other so called good burger spots in L A, I Forgot how good the Hula mushroom Burgers are here, had a second round of Fries THAT"S HOW GOOD THEY ARE.
