As a lifelong resident of Hawaii, I was pleased to find this place during my first trip to the mainland recently. The food reminded me very much of my island home. Will definitely come back soon.
The amount of food is definitely worth the price, the taste is also worth the cost of time & money. The younger generations of employees behind the counter always find a way to make me feel uncomfortable for trying to get out of my comfort zone & try new places. The investment of my time was spent with my daughter & was worth the effort, The place was a little different. We received our food quickly, and it tasted fresh. We ordered a plate that was shareable, and the guy asked us if we wanted an extra plate without us asking for one. I really appreciate it when someone is on top of things. Ono Hawaiian BBQ definitely gets a ?on this visit. ?
