I called in to see if they had any beignets left at around noon on a Saturday and I was told they did not but they could make me a fresh batch. 15-20 minutes later I arrived arrived and my son and I were kindly greeted. We were offered a free sample and obliged. My son was very happy with his beignets. The air fryer was broken that day so they have to deep fry them. They were still good!
I'm old enough to be an Elvis fan, and I watched a documentary that said, Elvis Presley sang a commercial jingle for Southern Maid Donuts when he first started in the music industry. I googled Southern Maid Donuts and searched for a California location. Lucky for me, I found a Southern Maid Donuts in Corona. Hidden gem! Came to this shopping center for lunch and stumbled across Southern Maid Donuts. I decided to try their oreo donut- it was so fresh and delicious! The service was fast and the area looked clean. I can't wait to come back and try the other flavors!!
