“We traveled to San Diego from Idaho for spring break. We ate there 8 years ago and I made it a point to come back when we visited Coronado Beach. Staff, atmosphere, and food were all as great as I remembered. Thanks for making every visit great.Kid-friendliness: Waiter was very patient with the kids. My daughter even spilled her drink and he rushed over to clean it up and made her feel better telling her it's good she did that cuz they gotta wash the tables somehow.“
“It is a hole in the wall that delivers the best tacos and burritos. We tried their street tacos with shrimp, veg burritos, and chicken burritos. The tacos and veg burritos had us come back second time. You have tables outside for a quick bite. Definitely give it a try and you will like it. The places has a good traffic all the time and service is fast.“
“We’ve been coming to Coronado for over 25 years, and we had no idea about this HIDDEN GEM! Best subs ever!! Today I tried the Orange Avenue Italian. It was only $7 for a HUGE half or $11 for the full. I couldn’t even finish half of the half! It was DELISH. I can’t wait to try the other sandwiches on our next visit.“
“A delicious fish taco for on-the-go when I am crossing the Coronado bridge heading home! Economically priced, flavorful and perfect for one-handed dining (smile). I prefer the standard fish option vice the various shrimp and "protein-of-the-month" offerings.“
“So many things I could have ordered, the options on this menu are vast, delicious, and represent both the American diner the place started as as well as the Mexican roots of the owner. If you like good food this super friendly, no fuss but all flavour place, is one of your best options on Coronado. Went with my kids who loved the huge pancakes, soft french toast, and crispy fries. I had the BLT-A, tried some of my dads fish tacos and my wife’s chorizo burrito, and look forward to going back for it all again sometime soon.“
