“Been coming to Coronado for decades and we are over-the-moon with our first experience at Jolie... this is exactly the type of restaurant that has been missing from Coronado's food scene for so long. One usually has to go into San Diego proper to find this type of exquisite fare. Not any more! To complement the tantalizing food and beverage experience, the background music playlist was perfectly curated and at the perfect volume to set the mood but never overpower conversations. We sincerely hope the local and tourist crowds keep Jolie thriving in Coronado! Way to go, kitchen and front-of-house!P.S. the parker house rolls are heavenly“
“Best place I have been to in years, and I eat out at least 4 times a week. Amazing food and best service! Eloquent and trendy decor but no stuffy white table cloths. I usually cringe at the meet presentation but don't at this one. Wine selection was very very impressive, 77 pages and something for everyone!!! So good, I am going back tomorrow night.“
“Wow!! Incredible. The best lobster roll I’ve ever had, the lobster was excellently seasoned and the roll melted in your mouth. I love the beans and coleslaw as well. Good pairing! The server Seth was so kind and made the experience so great. Also, love the lobster bisque and clam chowder.“
“Ordered dozen oysters, swordfish, crab avocado salad, lobster rolls, and cioppino. Best dish were the dozen oysters. Should have ordered 2 dozen. Cioppino was good but the best part about it is the bread dipped in sauce. Too bad it only comes with 2 pieces of bread. Reasonable portions but expect to pay 2x since you sit on the edge of the water.“
“I recommend the Sand Dabs and Trout Amandine for the best value for your money. They are delicious and satisfy a hungry appetite. If you order the cioppino, depending on the day, you may have to order something else or ask for more bread. Overall, great ambience, service and food. Also Jim, the manager, is customer focused and wants to ensure every patron is happy with their experience.“
“A delicious fish taco for on-the-go when I am crossing the Coronado bridge heading home! Economically priced, flavorful and perfect for one-handed dining (smile). I prefer the standard fish option vice the various shrimp and "protein-of-the-month" offerings.“
“We ate here twice for dinner and once for breakfast during our stay. Recommend the steak frita, scallops, and rigatoni. For breakfast, the corned beef and hash as well as the omelet were fantastic. Service was always very friendly and welcoming. The food came out timely and everything was great! Looking forward to visiting again in the summer and enjoying dinner and breakfast on the beautiful patio!“
“Nice poke cafe along Coronado's main street. Plenty of options, as well as building your own. Bowls can be filled high enough that mixing becomes a challenge if that's your preference.Ordered the spicy tuna bowl and a Thai iced tea. The poke was good, though the tea did not have enough condensed milk.“
“Amazing food and views. Even though our server did a great job, the restaurant was not prepared for a large number of people who walked in. They had planned their staffing based on reservations, therefore they were extremely short-handed and thus service became very slow between courses and the different steps in the ordering process. The few servers were running around like crazy and could not keep up. The restaurant management should have a better plan for these situations, which I imagine happens once in a while.“
“Beautiful location to eat! Food was on the pricier side, but we knew that going in. We were disappointed to hear another server relay specials to a table that was seated behind us, when we were halfway through our meal. Especially with some of the specials we heard…had I known about them, I would have ordered one of the specials I had heard.I enjoyed the swordfish my husband got more than the macadamia crusted mahi, but bother were good!“
“The restaurant location is great, waterfront. The server was attentive. Where the restaurant fell short was the food. Ordered the combo appetizer and the rice on the sushi and poke was hard. The crusted salmon was very dry. Just not a good experience with the food.“
“Our second visit to this restaurant. It doesn't not disappoint. The staff is very attentive and able to answer any questions you may have about the dishes. I had the Kakavia which is swordfish, shrimp, and clams in a herbal fish broth. Absolutely wonderful. My wife tried a filet which was great as well. They really just have a great selection of dishes cooked wonderfully. I appreciate that service isn't rushed and there seems to be a lot of time to just spend enjoying the company you are with enjoying everything.“
