This place was packed when I visited and they executed! Line went quick, food came out fast, and atmosphere was upbeat and lively. ‘Ai Pono is a well oiled machine. Also - food was fantastic. I did the crackhead chicken with extra mac. Highly recommend!

The chicken katsu plate offered tender and juicy chicken complemented by a flavorful sauce. However, the Mac salad lacked seasoning and needed a touch of salt, while the Asian slaw felt like an afterthought. It had zero flavor.The shrimp lollipops were pretty tasty , especially when paired with the savory dipping sauce.The lilikoi butter cheesecake was a perfect blend of sweet and tangy flavors.

Our visit to 'Ai Pono Cafe was fantastic! The mix plate gave us a taste of several delicious meats, and the atmosphere was cool, filled with Hawaiian and reggae music. It's a popular place with a line out the door, but finding a seat was never too hard, even if it meant sitting close to others.The staff were awesome, keeping up with the busy pace and ensuring everyone got their food quickly.
