We’ve been coming to Side Street Cafe for 20+ years, and it never disappoints. It’s fun to see how many regulars they have. We got the stuffed French toast and an egg scramble with toast, and it was as good as always. Staff is super friendly! It’s always hopping busy, so plan your time accordingly!Parking: There’s a small parking lot right in front and more free parking at the city park just across the street
This is my favorite breakfast spot. Honestly, it feels like you're sitting in someone's Texas home, enjoying a down-home hearty meal that tastes incredible. I've been coming to Side Street Cafe since the '90s. I moved away but am now close enough to visit again. The restaurant staff (AKA Friendly Family Owners), make you feel like you're in their own home. They are kind and attentive. They serve excellent lunches too, but back in the '90s, I came here for weekend brunches.
