“This place is very close to my house. Their wings and french fries plate is affordable and generous and very tasty. It's always served hot. Everything is crunchy and the service is pretty good. I haven't had anybody be rude. You can eat right at the bar. The ambience is nice. It's a giant high ceiling, double room with a stage for karaoke and open high volume restrooms, a front patio area you can eat at if you want to see Citrus as people go by. I enjoy it frequently now. It took me a while to discover it. I can recommend it without any qualms.“
“This place was amazing. We came it with a group of 10, and we got set up with a table right away. They got our orders quickly, and then appetizers and food came out just as quick. However, the food was probably the best Korean fried chicken I have had in a long time. The sauce flavors were delicious, chicken was crunchy. Definitely have to try Korean BBQ , Lemon Pepper (dry), and the Sweet Chili Wings. Even the Bulgogi Pizza was great. Great little hole in the wall spot. Entrance is level with sidewalk, so wheelchair can roll right it, and there are a couple tables that can be set up with wheelchair seating. I can not vouch for the restroom as I did not check.“
“I’m a fan. Lots of history here. This was also a filming location for the movie Bad Santa. The hotel IS haunted. But I don’t believe it is yet operational again. The Mayan is and it’s a really cool place. The staff is super friendly and engaging as well. Be sure to walk around and check out the pictures on the wall. Yes! They are from the 30s and 40s. “The place have been on my tagged list to try and I finally dropped in for lunch with my aunt and stuffed ourselves silly with yummy food & fabulous drinks. HIGHLY recommend!FOOD: They have reasonable lunch specials available from which we ordered the chicken enchiladas & al pastor street taco. Both were great & very tasty. I also had a craving for chilaquiles so we ordered that off the regular menu and my cravings were very well satisfied. We forgot to order the highly recommended shrimp empanadas but that’s a perfect excuse for us to go back soon!DRINKS: I mean they are truly one of the highlights of our meal. The signature “La Sexy Michelada” was one of the best I’ve had. It literally had a whole half of a mango seasoned with chamoy & tajin balanced on a tamarind candy stick in a large glass mug liberally rimmed with chamoy & tajin. The michelada itself was perfectly made IMHO. My aunt ordered the Margarita Flight and she thought every single one was delicious & unique. Her personal fave was the cucumber margarita & mine was the mango margarita.“

“Cool spot we discovered on our way to dinner. The owner was really cool with us. We experienced the early hours: pretty empty, we were able to play pool. Went back after dinner and it was full. There was a cool cover band playing, still great. The drinks are pretty reasonable, ample parking, and cool environment. Check it out!“
“Went here for St. PATRICK'S DAY looking to have a beer and some fish ? and chips with the wife. Place was crowed and quite festive ☘️. Service was slow with the beer as demand was high and the servers and bar staff were frantically filling orders for ? folks who were chugging away the green beer and other mixed drinks as fast as they were presented to the patrons. Patience was key and the bar and wait staff are ? Champs for working so hard on a Sunday St PADDY'S day. Beer and alcohol service for that day was also available outside on the patio. Enjoyed a cold one streetside with other friendly folks waiting to get a table. Once we were seated the wait staff was fast and polite. Drink order came around fast and surprisingly the food was just as fast too. I highly recommend this place for the fish and chips. Great batter, comes out crisp and light, good tarter sauce and their coleslaw is just the way I like it. Better yet they have one of my favorite Irish Cream Ales on hand Killkenny. Great Red Ale which is always on tap here throughout the year...Definitely coming back. My wife had ordered the same food dish and big thumbs up from her too...she doesn't drink alcohol so she ordered a Shirley Temple to which they served in a large beer ? mug which made her happy too. Would absolutely recommend this place as there is a great bar and restaurant atmosphere and setting in this quaint downtown setting of La Verne. A shout out to manager Anthony who was serving beer on the pation and showing great hospitality to everyone outside.Parking: Small downtown area next to college so parking is a little competitive depending on time of year and time of day and which day of the week. There is a lot to the east that has free parking.“

“I came here for brunch with my Family on a Saturday at 11am after my son's baseball game. The food was absolutely delicious. The Bolon was? delicious! The Carne Guisado was also soo, so good. I highly recommend you get the salsa picante to add that perfect level of fire to your plate. The atmosphere is a combination of modern and traditional ecuadorean. The customer service was the best, and for this, we are absolutely coming back!“
