? ? Do yourself a favor, Seared Peppered Salmon.....It's not on the menu, but it's life changing and you'll thank me for it later! Holy cow! Don't let the run down shopping center fool you, or maybe even the lack of anyone else in there, this spot is amazing! My wife and I are creatures of habit, so we know for sure that the Rainbow Roll is great, the YellowTail is amazing and the spicy tuna is spot on! But the Seared Peppered Salmon ??
The place is small and unassuming, situated in a strip mall in suburbia, California, but it definitely accomplishes it's goal. The service is phenomenal, the food is fresh, and expertly prepared. My one tiny criticism is that the plating (particularly the plates themselves) are a bit dated. But beyond that, an amazing dining experience that beats quite a lot of the DTLA restaurants I've overpaid for in the past. I highly recommend their full 7-course omakase. My family and I have always come here since we were kids, and even longer since my parents first dated. The food is wonderful and the restaurant owners are so kind. Great food, atmosphere, and truly a wonderful experience. We always get the new style sashimi, tamago (and it's the best), and other sushi. Their tempura rolls are wonderful. :)
