“I ordered pasta and the dasher named Kev delivered trash and snacks to me. This has never happened to me before I’m not even comfortable using doordash anymore. I work too hard for my money for ppl to be playing games with me. I wish I could show the pics of the stuff. It’s two bags of Doritos, two snack packs or Oreos, frozen veggies and wings and an empty bottle of water. I’m pissed off but I’ll never use this app again for sure.“
“Exquisite experience from the food, the service and the overall atmosphere of the place. Romantic vintage European decor and plates, Italian & French specialties mastered to perfection and attentive personnel. The formula works and makes you want to go back again & again….“
“The food and wine are amazing, Sara is absolutely wonderful and the ambiance is charming. Authentic Italian food. Highly recommend. I love everything on the menu but my favorites are the Avocado Bruschetta and/or the Crostini Burrata for starters, and either the Bucatini Amatriciana pasta or the Pizza Prosciutto as a main dish. The pancetta and subtle spice in the Bucatini Amatriciana are the highlights of the dish.“
“Hands down the best Italian deli in LA! Been a standard staple of the Culver City area for generations. Family owned and operated! Everything is authentic Italian, made from homemade recipes. Can't go wrong with a combo sub with extra red sauce (to die for!).“
“This is a neighborhood gem. The staff is friendly, the food is very good, portions are generous. We started off with the fried calamari. The breading was light and it was nicely seasoned. The dipping sauce was flavorful and garlicky. For dinner, I had the Cioppino. It was more saucy than soupy, but I found it very tasty with plenty of seafood. It was very filling and warming on a cold evening. My son had the Penne Alla Genovese. A picky eater, he loved it and that's saying a lot. My wife and I are always looking for new "go-to" places to go for a nice meal, and this is the newest addition to our list.“
“I ordered some food to be picked up the other day, my first time at Victor Jrs. I got food for the entire family so we ordered a pepperoni pizza, a chicken Philly sandwich, a Caesar salad with chicken breast and an order of meatballs. The pizza was awesome. I love that they use a spicy pepperoni. The crust was perfect. The Caesar salad was amazing. The chicken breast was superb and the Caesar dressing was incredible. The chicken Philly sandwich was tasty and huge! We couldn't believe how big it was. Finally, they call the meatballs divine for a reason. They were some of the best meatballs we have had from a restaurant. They truly are divine. Overall, everything about Victor Jrs was great and we can't wait to go back. It's our new local Italian joint!“
“I have been frequenting this restaurant for 61 years. Of course, they were across the street back when. My brother and I used to play in the meat locker there. My grandfather was friends with Mr. Petrelli, upto the day he was killed. I remember the bartender, I believe his name George. The best Shirley Temples. I digress. Anyway we love the food here and the service. The only thing I have seen as a detriment over the years is the fact that LA county has allowed homeless people to enter the establishment, thus IMO has forced the hour changes. I used to love going there for lunch. Anyway, if you have chance to discover their great food at reasonable prices, do it.Mike“
“Vegetarian options: Almost anything you order you can make a vegetarian meal out of just request no meat.Parking: Plenty of Parking As well as valet parkingKid-friendliness: Very kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Easy wheelchair accessibility“
“I work nearby and end up at Upper Crust a few times a month. The pizza is always delicious, and I'm a huge fan of their calzones! Their slices are massive for what you pay, too - if you get two slices, you have lunch for two days. Oh! And they have a delightful chicken sandwich that I think it newer on the menu that my partner really enjoyed when we went last together.Employees I've interacted with have always been effective and quick. While it can take a minute to get your food, that first bite tells you just how freshly made it is and is completely worth the wait. I highly recommend stopping in to try a slice or a calzone!“
“I went to Margot's for a dinner my job was sponsoring and it was really nice. From the little shops on the street level to the atmosphere of the actual restaurant. I would describe the design style as maybe organic boho. It was really cute! The bathrooms were really nice too. Unisex though. They reserved the private patio for us and it was nice and secluded. Someone that was at the diner said they were there for a birthday dinner just the weekend before and it was in the main dining room but it was noisy and people kept walking through their party to get to the bathroom. So if you want to go here and want a private, quiet experience then reserve the private patio. If you want to meet other people or don't mind the noise of other people and the kitchen then the main dining room is fine. The food looked and tasted gourmet. I loved the presentation.Kid-friendliness: I would not call this a kid friendly place maybe more during the day. I was there in the evening with adults drinking.Wheelchair accessibility: From the valet parking there is a ramp up to the elevator. So it is nicely wheelchair accessible.“
“We had a wonderful experience dining here and I do emphasize '"dining" as we felt like we were in Europe enjoying the perfect meal. We sat outside in the cozy patio on a chilly night but we noticed the inside dining room was very well appointed and comfortable as well. The four of us had the price fix dinner which was spectacular and so reasonably priced for the the number of courses. I had the meat set menu and my partner had the fish. Both sets started with a wonderful cauliflower soup with no cream that was hot and tasty. After that we were served a wonderful and generous dish of four meatballs that were out of this world. The fish set was served an amazing burrata that was to die for and we shared both dishes which could have been enough for dinner but more was to come. Next the meat folks were served a pasta dish with pork in the best sauce with freshly made pasta that was crazy good. And that was followed with a roasted suckling pork dish which is a Sardinian specialty and a first for me. A huge portion and plated with a very special bread/cracker from Sardinia and the best raw carrots I have ever had ( i am a real carrot person and these were certainly farm to table). The fish folks at a seafood fast on pearl pasta that was also perfect. I also want to give a shout out to the owner and our server who was so flexible. Often on a price fix meal they won't really substitute but one of our group is gluten free and they easily accommodated. And the attention to detail was just incredible. Almost like a fine dining experience but I loved the Sardinian informality of the place. Our server pared our meals perfectly with great wine suggestions. The last course was delicious light lemon pastry in a wonderful sauce that wasn't too sweet or tart and our gluten free friend was treated to some gelato that was kindly substituted. Be sure to park in the City structure across the street as Culver City is quite busy or ask the restaurant in advance where to park so you don't waste time. We noticed so many guests were sharing the most delicious pizzas which must be a Sardinian specialty as well and we are going to try to get back there in the next week to try those as well!“
“It's a nice place to sit and enjoy the evening. Happy hour goes untill 7 PM, 1+1. Best view of Culver city intersection. Food quality is good. Try pizza and onion rings. I really had good time. Service is good. Just a suggestion, it should have QR code for complete menu and it's price. Many of drinks price were missing in menu specially beer. But overall a good place to visit..“
“Been on my list for a while now. Didn’t disappoint. We got the bee sting pizza, I believe it was called, and an appetizer ( forgot the name ) that came with freshly baked bread, and a cheese that was similar to buratta. Bomb. Don’t think about it just go.“
“Ugo is a solid spot for great Neapolitan-style pizza. I really like their margherita pizza here. However, I am deducting a star because I ordered some "black forest" slice of cake from Doordash once and it was possibly the most atrociously dry, flavorless, loosely held together slice of cake I'd ever eaten from a restaurant...“
“In Culver City searching for a latte & randomly opted for Ugo , not knowing anything about the restaurant. I was astonished! Their latte was super deep, rich & creamy in a ceramic cup ! Their pizza had the best crust ever , Napoleon style . The waiter Marian, told me they have teachers from Italy come to the restaurant to review the authenticity of their food to meet genuine Italian standards! So impressed w the Parmesan cheese too ! I'll be back to try more dishes.“
“Can’t say enough about how great this place is! What a gem! Brunello Trattoria is a lovely family business that takes great care to put out delicious food! They always provide fresh, hot bread when you sit down and you can tell the food is made with love. Came here a few months ago and met the owner who is such a good guy and a character! His kids are both wonderful too. Best of all, the food is fantastic. I hope they stay in business for a long long time because I’ll be back!“
