“Very good Vegan choices! Vegan crumbled sausage and vegan cheese and vegan pies. Vegan crust and also cauliflower crust choices! The flavors are spot on and very very delicious! Also has normal pizza choices for all the non-vegans and it has vegetarian choices! I believe it's a must come and see restaurant!“
“I and my husband had veg and non veg thalli’s today, their taste took me back to India. I find that many restaurants make their food little bland and that’s a big bummer for me. But the food here is spicy and yummy, will definitely go back. The service here is great, they were friendly and accommodating. Ambiance is good as well, it’s big and spacious.“
“Upscale, fine-dine Indian fusion cuisine restaurant with great ambience and service.Jain options: Malai Broccoli, Paneer Makhani, Paneer Lazeez, Navratan Kurma and Dum Biryani.Desserts that are a must try: Deconstructed Falooda & Bubbling Kesar Pista Kulfi.Dietary restrictions: Jain Options available“
“An absolute favorite that I am sure to visit on every trip to the Bay. Very unique fusions of Indian and Californian flavors with something for every palate. My favorites are the sesame leaf, burrata kulcha, house salad and dry boat scallops. Also don’t sleep on the cocktails. Very nicely crafted.“
“Indulge in an exquisite journey of Indian Speciality cuisine at this remarkable restaurant, where seafood takes center stage unlike anywhere else in the Bay Area. Each dish is meticulously crafted with a symphony of aromatic spices, delivering unparalleled flavors that tantalize the senses. What truly sets this establishment apart is the genuine care and attention from the owners, who personally engage with every patron, eagerly gathering feedback and ensuring each diner's needs are met with utmost satisfaction. The selection of fish here is nothing short of exceptional, bursting with distinct flavors that redefine seafood dining experiences. If only I could award six stars, I would without hesitation. Here's to hoping this gem expands its footprint across the country, sharing its unparalleled cuisine with countless more food enthusiasts.“
“The food truck has been there for a while and thought of trying this time. The menu is vast variety of things from chaat to full meals. We ordered Paani Puri and Chole bhature. Both of them were extremely good.Have to say I prefer the style they have for Paani Puri and have not gotten swayed by the trend of different type of waters.Chole bhature were amazing as well. The chole were well done and bhature weren’t too oily and didn’t taste like puri.Highly recommend both these. Will try other items as well in future visits“
“There's a charming Indian restaurant right here in our neighborhood that has become my absolute favorite spot for a hearty meal. Their butter chicken is simply divine - it's like a warm embrace on a plate. Every dish they serve feels like it's been made just for me, with flavors that hit all the right notes. But what really makes this place special is the friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff. It's not just a restaurant; it's a gathering place where you feel like part of the family. If you're craving some delicious Indian cuisine that feels like home, you won't be disappointed here“
“So far the best Chicken Tikka Masala in the area, I hope their taste stays consistent. I am so tired of having sweet chicken tikka masala from other well rated restaurants and Im very happy to have found this place. Their other dishes were awesome too, extra spicy request is actually spicy and thats a big plus.“
“Truly amazing food ! I tried their chicken fried rice, chicken 65 and rose lassi. It serves atleast 2 people. The quantity is huge. Food is super fresh. Flavors are bang on.I’m not spice tolerant so I’d asked for the medium , I will definitely go for the mild next time.Love the food !“
“One of my favorite restaurants in Palo Alto! I always enjoy the outdoor seating especially since they have heaters and the ambiance is lovely on that street. There's usually a line when I go but it moves pretty quickly since you just order at the counter and take a number before finding a seat. My favorite dish to get is the chicken boti thali. I love that you can substitute the rice for naan because the naan is absolutely delicious. Everything is so flavorful and tasty and I especially enjoy the daal. It's such a great and satisfying meal every time I come!“
“Food was great!! My daughter loves the butter chicken as she says it melts in your mouth with the amazing flavor. The oyster mushroom was delicious with the great texture!! And my son enjoyed the butter naan. Service was wonderful as always and the atmosphere was welcoming and aesthetically pleasing.“
“I find myself coming back here time and time again and introducing all my friends. The service was quick and friendly along with food which was super flavorful and had a level of richness that sets it apart from other Indian restaurants. The food is delicious and the portion size is good. The pricing is super affordable! Most dishes priced under $15.“
“I have tried all their mouth watering vegetarian dishes and all of them taste great! Two of my most favorite are jackfruit Donne biryani and mushroom Donne biryani and is a must try !! The baby corn kabab is a perfect combination for biryanis and cannot miss ordering them each time.I highly recommend this place ! Service is spot on !!Vegetarian options: Weekly vegetarian options are great and is a wonderful idea to serve such yummy dishes.“
“5 star for the service. The servers were knowledgeable and polite. Liked the ambiance and the white table cloths on the tables, very crisp and clean and gives a formal, polished vibe and good enough for a special Occasion dining. 5 star for the price and the food quality as well as quantity. It met my expectations! Now when it comes to food I think they did a good job. I only ordered vegetarian dishes ( chole bhature, veg Manchurian, butter naan and laccha paratha) and they all were fresh. The chole was delicious and non spicy ( as I asked) for the kids. The veg Manchurian balls were good, however the gravy could have been more flavorful with ginger garlic and seasoning. To me it was more soup Like than what I like. The bhature could be better with natural fermentation than the baking soda one but i think they probably do that to avoid food wastage. Would love to get yoghurt fermented bhature over the baking soda one. Overall I think they do a good job in serving high quality food with fresh ingredients and good taste. I will come back to try non-vegetarian dishes next time and update my review.“
“Our local favorite north Indian food. Usually doing takeouts. Excellent Butter Chicken, Masala Bhindi, Malay Kofta and our recent favorite, Shrimp curry (JHINGA LABABDAR). Rice is included but don't miss out on the fresh Naan or Roti! All great tasting, you can choose the level of spiciness and they are always great when ordering the takeout by phone. The food is always ready on time for pickup.“
“Amazing food! Ordered pani puri and Afghani soya chaap. The pani puri has three waters and the spicy water was the best. Careful, if your spice tolerance is low, coz this was Indian spicy. The Afghani chaap was yummy and exactly how we get in India. Super yummy food, keep it up!Vegetarian options: Soya chaap is really yummy and a great vegetarian option!“
“Visited this place recently when I was on a trip to California. They have a decent ambience but their restrooms were not good. We went there as a family for an evening tiffin and ordered standard south Indian tiffins. Loved their poori and aloo sabzi. All their chutneys were great. The vada was not up to the standard. But in general, it was good food. The service was quick and the staffs were helpful.Dietary restrictions: Vegan and gf options availableParking: Outside the restaurant“
“I went to dinner with my colleagues recently. This was an amazing place. It is quite different from the typical Indian fare. Enjoyed the dinner and the experience thoroughly.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options were available on appetizers as well as entree.Parking: Parking behind the restaurant.“
“Absolutely, here's a review for Mom's Biryani:Mom's Biryani serves up delicious and authentic Indian biryanis that won't disappoint. The portions are generous, enough to satisfy even the heartiest appetites, and the value is unbeatable. But what truly sets Mom's Biryani apart is the warm hospitality and the rich, flavorful biryanis that taste like something straight out of a home kitchen.I recommend trying their Gongura Chicken Biryani for a unique and tangy experience. You won't be disappointed!“
“I have been going to this restaurant every week for almost 6 months now and it has always been a delightful experience.Their staff is really nice and polite and the atmosphere is very cozy. While their menu is very diverse, the dish that I have liked the most here is their thali. It is simple, home cooked, soulful food served in brass plates and it brings so much joy every time I eat it ! I highly recommend it !“
“Very good taste. Tried Malai Kofta, Saag, Chana masala with Onion Kulcha, Rice and Garlic naan. Too good. Chana masala was less salty which you can pour on the top but wonderfully cooked. How can I forget complementary Bhajis. Thanks a lot.Yummy!“
“We went here on Easter Sunday for dinner. The place was clean and they have so many pizza options! We tried the Achari chicken pizza and it was absolutely delicious. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary Easter special chocolate chip cookie-pie which was so delicious. Really good service and we’ll definitely be going again.“
“I went to Asian Momo House while I was insanely hungry, and it did not disappoint. I got the chicken jhol momos, and man it was good it was really fresh. The chicken was tender and seasoned and hot. I also got the chicken sausage which was also good. However it was just a Hot Dog and I expected something more. I also got a mint lemonade as a drink. While there was barely any min in the lemonade they made up with this seasoning called Chaat masala which is really refreshing and tasty. Overall would not come again, but I do recommend to others.“
“By far my favorite Indian cuisine restaurant to the point where I won’t go anywhere else if I want this type of food. Service is always good, food even better. I have been going here going on 3 years and I have never had a bad experience with dine in or takeout. Speaking of takeout I feel it’s worth mentioning that their takeout food travels well and tastes the same at home than it does in restaurant. 10/10 12/10 15/10 love it. Only issue I would see is maybe parking, but I’ve always found a spot somewhere.“
“Friendly staff and good selection of food items. Bottles of water were ready on each table. Server was helpful with menu questions and gave recommendations. Food was good and tasty (aside from the one that was way too spicy)Cons: space looked somewhat unorganized. It took a long time and two reminders for an additional item.Even though it was noted for our food to be “very very mild” it was very spicy that I took it home, soaked it in water and washed the sauce totally off but it was still spicy!Kid-friendliness: Not at all, even mild spicy is way too spicy for kids“
“Came at lunchtime with my mom and had a wonderful time. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the lunch buffet is a really good deal with all you can eat, fresh naan, and hot chai.My mom loved the goat curry and i liked the butter chicken. Will definitely come again!!“
“I usually order spicy pav bhaji here. Its tastes really good and the chai here is a must try. There’s a transaction fee (1$ i think?) added if you swipe the card for <10$. Better to carry cash if you’re going just for the chai, which i usually do :)“
“Lovely delicious food.Tgere is different varieties in Veg and Non vegetarian foods. You can't ever seen the topping options here.If your select Chicken Tikka bowl ,there is 10 out of seven fillings option .North Indian perfect taste good.even we can select spicy options also .paneer Tikka bowl and chicken curry bowl is very tasty and samosas cost wise affordable price.worth for it.“
“Pollo Campero is a fantastic option for takeout! Their chicken is the real star - you can choose between their famous crispy fried chicken or opt for the juicy grilled option. Both are bursting with flavor, and the portions are generous. I will come back “
“Went on Monday evening, it was full packed. We had to wait for 15-20 mins. Worth of wait time. Food quality and taste is good. Even its Nepali restaurant I felt Indian taste. We ate kothey momos, veg chowmen and. Panner chilly. All were delicious, especially kothey momos. You must also try masala tea, it was fantastic. Service was okay as it was busy. They charge 3% for credit card payments.“
“Having read all the raving reviews, my expectations from this place were very high. We got the Bonda soup and the pani puri. The panipuri tasted good, not exceptional, but alright. What was disappointing was the quantity of filling offered. It wasn’t enough for all the puris. Maybe if we had more filling to spare for each puri, the taste would have been elevated. We were trying bonda soup for the first time, so we don’t know what to compare it to. But we weren’t impressed. The Bonda ‘batter’ separated from the fried crust on putting it in the soup. So we were eating the ‘batter’ with soup and the crust with soup, separately. Not a great experience. This was the place I was most looking forward to on our trip to San Jose and sadly, I am disappointed by it.“
“While restaurants are really cutting down on service, this quiet little sit down place served us good food with real plates and utensils. We went on a Friday night and were the only dine in customers. We ordered a starter, a curry, some rice and naan. Food was tasty and reasonable priced, and service was good.“
“Amazing place. Can here for a friends birthday. The restaurant is beautiful and the location is also beautiful. The food was delicious. And for any Muslims wondering, not everything is Halal. Just the lamb, Butter Chicken and the Tandoori Chicken are Halal. We got the Lamb Briyani and butter chicken both were delicious. We were fasting and they were nice enough to bring some samosa for us to open our fast. Much appreciated. ?? I highly recommend this place.“
“We ordered vegan pizzas with dietary restrictions a few months back and they were awesome . Asked the chef to customize on phone for deliveryVegetarian options: We ordered vegan ( no onion garlic ) pizza and it was awesomeDietary restrictions: We ordered vegan ( no onion garlic mushroom ) pizza and it was awesome“
“This is one of the best places in the Bay Area to have a vegetarian thali. The food was delicious and is just like home-cooked food, with less oil. The service was delightful, with the staff always serving with a wonderful smile. If you like vegetarian food, I recommend you try this restaurant. Parking may be a challenge especially in the evenings so be ready to park at the nearby hotel. The only thing which I didn't like is that they have not mentioned about a service charge of 15% for 4+ people. I realized later in the bill that there was a service charge and on top of it I also left tip. Though I didn't mind giving separate tip but somewhere (website menu or in the restaurant) it could be mentioned that there is a service fee for 4+ people. Other than than, everything else was great.Vegetarian options: All vegetarian menuParking: Somewhat difficult to find parking in the evening.“
“Pizza is delicious, no complaints. But please update your pricing on Uber Eats. I have a lot of credit on Uber eats, and would order this Pizza every time if I could but all of the pricing in the Uber app is wrong. A large cheese pizza on Uber eats is $32 but only $20 if I order on Slice… doesn’t make any sense. Please update the cost of the items and you’ll have many more sales from me and others.“
“It's a non-casual dining in terms of very well-thought food menu. They have a plenty of (unique in the South Bay) eggs specialities along with some tasty vegetarian options. The Owner/Chef and staff members are friendly and welcoming. Service is good and turnaround time is less. I would highly recommend this place!“
“Came here with a large group of friends on a weekday night. We were able to be seated right away. The parking is ample, but most of the stores next door were closed by the time we arrived (around 7:30/8). We noticed there were other large parties in the restaurant, even one celebrating a birthday with their own cake! The service was quick. There's water already set out on the table for you, although it tasted a bit off. We got mango lassis and our own dishes. I got the spicy dosa. It's huge! I'm a fan of crepes, and eating this was so fun. The spice built up; I could still taste the flavors on my tongue and smell it on my fingers for a while after the meal. The mango lassi was sour, slightly sweet, creamy and mellowed the spice out. My friends got the chicken and lamb on sizzling plates and they smelled heavenly. They had great flavor as well, and came with onions and tomatoes. One of my friends got the chicken biryani and the portion felt like it could be 3 meals, or 2 at least. It was served TOWERING in a bowl so he wasn't sure how to approach it. I'd ask for a separate bowl on the side. The menu is extensive and has great prices. I'd definitely come back!“
“I like their Ambur mutton biryani which is full of flavor and a bit spicy though not dominating other flavors. Appam is authentic and our kids love it with mild chicken curry. Service is very good , Chef is very friendly and he himself served some dishes.“
“This Southern Indian food restaurant is the best! Everything from idlis to dosas to chaats are very authentic. Just tried it for the first time and will definitely come back. Raja is an excellent, friendly waiter who describes dishes on the menu very clearly. Highly recommended!Parking: Parking at the restaurant and the lot next doorKid-friendliness: VeryWheelchair accessibility: Easily accessible“
“Great location, lots of space and outdoor seating. Fulfilling food - we had aloo paratha and chole bhature. The bhaturas were not oily. They were fluffy with spices and paneer.. nicely done! The paratha came with a blob of butter - and we couldn't have eaten all of it. Gurpal was a great, cordial host, prompt service!“
“Our go to spot every weekend from the time the place opened up! It's almost become a tradition. It is also toddler friendly, they have high chairs, and they always accommodate little requests we have for updating spice levels and other small things. The service is super friendly and so is the overall vibe! Our fav food items to order: ghee kara onion masala dosa, poori, parotta, idly-vada combo!“
“1st time being here, we really enjoyed the service and good atmosphere, coming to food buffet on weekend we have 16 main course dishes + fruits + drinks( lemonade + mango lassi), +$1 extra for panipuri. Chicken entrees are not at all good, enjoyed the mutton curry and mutton biryani. Paneer appetizer is nothing but deep fried, gobi Manchuria, methi paneer are good. They have option of garlic naan served to the table, which is very tasty and fluffy.Overall for food I would rate 3.5/5 and ambience and service 4.5/5“
“We tried varieties of dosa here, and rava dosa is really good. Podi dosas are not great, and could get better ones. Best part you ask ? Chaats. Masala Puri, Punugulu, Pani puri and irani chai are the best. Tip: ask to make masala puri spicy!“
“Today i came with my family, and my brother YouTube food vlogger, visited to taste the food but felt let down. The counter guy was irresponsible. He ignored us when he got a call, leaving us waiting. We had to ask multiple times for water, desserts, and extra plates he forgot us doing his own work. The Egg Roll was salty, but the fish fry, chicken biryani, mutton cutlet, and Mogalai veg cutlet were amazing. Service declined, but food quality remained good. Hoping they improve service so we can continue enjoying their delicious meals.“
“I recently tried the chicken pan-fried momos from the food truck, and I must say, they exceeded my expectations. The aroma alone was enticing, and the first bite confirmed that they were exceptionally well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. The crispy exterior gave way to juicy, flavorful chicken filling, creating a delightful contrast in textures. The portion size was generous, and considering the taste and quality, the price was definitely worth it. Overall, it was a satisfying and memorable experience.“
“I ordered the ghee masala dosa and the portion was amazing for the price. Every side and the actual dosa was good. Only problem was that because they only do to-go orders, everything got half cold by the time I got home. They would do SO well if they had at least a couple of tables and chairs.“
“We came here for dinner and had a nice meal. We ordered 2 mango lassis, the cauliflower manchurian, honey chilli potato, buff sukuti, steamed pork momo, steamed goat momo, pork thukpa, and garlic naan. The food was all delicious, but we thought the honey chilli potato was somewhat overpriced for what you’re getting in the dish. Overall, we had a good experience, and we would definitely come back to try other Nepalese dishes when we’re in the area again!“
“Food here was excellent. The only reason it is 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that there is no indoor space or seating. But still worth it. I believe the other locations might have indoor seating, but I've never been and don't know.“
“We ordered XL thin crust veggies delight pizza. It was good. It was full of veggies (more olives). They gave only couple condiments with the pizza. Lemon pepper wings and Hot wings were also good. They have posted the Allergen information in their sauces.“
