“Updating my older review: I've been coming here for years, since it's a reliable place with fair prices and quality food. (Sometimes I eat here once a week when I'm in town for work). In recent months, though, I've noticed a subtle change. The tomatillo soup (a longtime favorite) is now thinner, with less flavor. I've still been ordering it, but it's not what it was. And now, tonight, the bowl had substantially less soup- about 3/4 of what it usually is. And I also noticed the burrito was a little bit smaller. I'm always satisfied and don't get hungry for the rest of the night after eating here, but not this time. Shrinkflation? Hmmm. I give 4 stars, but I hope they continue the great quality and portions that I've grown to rely on at Aqui. If so, I'll gladly give them 5 stars again.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of families with kids here.“
“Amazing taco spot that I visited located in the parking lot of the Shell gas station. Spoke with the nice lady who took my order and she mentioned they have been there for about 4 months now and I can’t believe I haven’t come sooner! Tried an assortment of their tacos: al pastor (they ask if you’d like pineapple on it), pollo, chorizo, as well as asada. My favorite was the pastor and chorizo as those are my go to’s but the pollo and asada were also delicious. Can’t wait to try their other menu items but wanted to start with the tacos to see how it went, until next time!“
“The wide range of Fresh and dry food available at this place is quite mind boggling. They also have many stations with a variety of cooked food selections, offering hot foods, cold food, salads, desserts etc. there is a sandwich counter, dosa counter, dessert shoppe. And everything is pretty good too !!“
“For a while , this location has been consistently lacking cleanliness and effort to restock utensils, ice, soda machine but today I find it super clean, tables wiped, everything restocked and I'm impressed with the cleanliness. Who ever is in charge (Mondays @noon) today (good team working today, fully staffed) is doing a great job in ensuring things are running well and maintaining order.“

“Great ambience, clean and modern. All the food was amazing, we had the chile relleno and chicken mole enchilada and both were delicious. There's desserts off the menu, we had the tres leches which is made to look like a potted plant and the "soil" is the dessert. Must go!“
“Getting Cochinita Pabil to split for two. Pork was super tender and the pickeled red onions. The Queso with homemade corn tortillas. Our server, Able was on top of it! He spoke to the bartender to ask about making a Oaxacan Old Fashioned (not on menu). The Lunarittas are great!“
“My wife and I stopped by El Halal Amigos because 1) I had it bookmarked from Yelp reviews 2) Rave review from one of the baker's at Susiecakes bakery. As we were walking over, we thought, "Oh, this replaced the burger place." Outdoor and indoor seating available. Upbeat and fast tempo house music playing. Nicely and festive decorations. Service was super friendly and nice. You order at the front, get your number, and they will bring your food to your table. Birria Nar-Chos: Nachos, Birria Meat, Nacho Cheese, Chips, Pico De Gallo, Sour Cream, Jalapenos, Nar Sauce. Pretty good portion size and the amount of meat is pretty good. The birria meat is tender and moist. A shareable meal! Burrito Super: Choice of filling, pinto or black beans, spanish rice, pico de gallo, shredded cheese, crema & guacamole. We also got the birria meat. This was a tasty burrito.“

“One of the most authentic mexican restaurants I have tried in the bay so far.I got the chicken enchilada which was super yummy.The portions are generous for the price.Specially love the variety of self serve salsas they have.Also liked the ambiance of the restaurant which does justice to the type of cuisine served.Would recommend dining.“
