Awesome little place in the middle of anywhere but a commercial strip, but, take the time to go there you'll see that the food is "real" Mexican (a delightful treat at that), and the accommodations is just like south of the border, if you get my drift. But kidding aside, this place has all the right stuff and the service is good. Seating is a bit off, but take out is just fine. Yummy #MexicanFood though! (see what I mean -- about the exterior?). #TheBrokerWithAHeart
Taco tasting in Daly City. We ordered al pastor, carnitas, and carne asana. The Al pastor was juicier than I expected. Carne asana average to kinda dry. Carnitas was good. The one thing that caught my attention was how dead the restaurant was. When we entered I wasn't sure if they were open or not. I'd come back if I were in the neighborhood or lived in Daly City. But I wouldn't go out of my way to come here from downtown sf.

Do yourself a favor, if you're a native of Daly City and haven't tried Los Metates, please make sure you do! Not only are the burritos fat but they're so delicious! I love getting their grilled chicken super burrito and their salsa verde is always on point. Service is great, parking not so much but it's well worth it!
