Called around 2pm on a Saturday. Man said in 10-15 minutes it would be ready. Got there exactly 15 minutes later and it was ready for pick up. No line to pick up food. Paid around $17 for katsu chicken curry. Woman at the front was really nice. Had to ask for a spoon but chopsticks and napkins were packed already. Curry came in a large bowl. I came here with high expectations of their food, but their attitudes toward their customers ruined my first experience here. The chef who would pause his work in the kitchen and ask his customers not to use their phones would throw his customers out of the restaurant bc there is not enough space to chatter. unfortunately the tonkatsu i got was overcooked and the outside was a little burnt as well. the rice was a bit too wet for my tastes and i think that may also have been overcooked. the curry was tasty though.despite the shortcomings in the food, the two ladies who helped me at the counter were so friendly so i’ll give them five stars! ?
