My absolute FAVORITE and ONLY place I will eat bread. My personal favorites are the mini pan de sal and pan de leche. Both of these and all the others are like heaven and n your mouth. They are soooooo fluffy and deliciously made that I could never eat any other pan.

I love this bakery! Fresh bread baking every morning they're open. I usually get the mini pan de sal rolls and chiffon cake. There aren't a lot of choices but if you like the stuff I do, they have those in stock all the time. You can get their products in markets but I prefer coming here directly. It's a mom and pop bakery. They are always nice and welcoming. It's the best when you get the bread fresh from the oven!! FYI - Cash only

Sad. They no longer make ensaymada. It was delicious... Very sad. It used to be the size of a plate! I really hope they change their mind and start making it again! :(

I love Golden Bakers. Hands down the best filipino flavored cakes (Ube & Buko Pandan) that definitely beat Red Ribbon or Goldilock's. Whenever there's a birthday or special occasion, we ALWAYS order our cakes from this bakery. My favorite is definitely the Ube with Whipped Cream filling, the cake is sweet, moist, and has a true ube flavor to it with the whipped cream filling - which isn't too sweet like regular icing (gross). I recently fell in love with their chocolate with banana cream filling too! They definitely have the best, freshest cakes around, its worth the drive all the way from Long Beach to Downey just for pickups. Though they are one of my favorite bakeries, it is hard to contact them sometimes - their website is down, but it is most definitely worth a couple phone calls to phone in an order.
