I had the Philly rolls here. I also had gyoza, miso soup and iced green tea. The Philly rolls were quite good. The gyoza ok. The miso soup ok. The iced green tea looked weak but it was good. However the refill looked good but wasn’t too good. It wasn’t packed but you could feel a good vibe. Service isn’t that great even though they are friendly. They have a mid sized parking lot. I’ve been here before and will come back whenever I’m in Downey.
Came after a long day at school with an empty stomach and this was the perfect spot to feast. Was easy to order and the staff was polite and welcoming the whole time. Food was prepared fast and was not only good quality but also tasted amazing. Banana tempura with vanilla ice cream made my night. Thank you Ichiban☺️

I love coming here because of the service. Sushi in the area is usually hard to find. Their quality and authenticity is admirable. The wait staff is very warm and doesn't rush you to order, like other places do. I only marked down on atmosphere because it's a hole in the wall that should be preserved this way. I don't need it upscaled to meet trendy vibes. You can't go wrong with any of their sashimi! Sorry no pictures, we ate it all up.
