“The service is excellent at this restaurant. I forgot my handbag in the restaurant this Tuesday during the lunch. I had my IDs and multiple credit cards and a bit cash in my bag. Since I was a bit tied up, I found out the loss of my handbag after a couple of hours. I went back to Mayflower in a hurry even knowing they were on break. But the manager there was very nice and immediately helped me to get my handbag back from the Lost and Found. I really appreciated the staffs and manager there to take care of my belongings. Will be back more often for the yummy Dim Sum.“
“I recently visited 88 Bao Bao and enjoyed the red bean bun and the fried dumplings; both were flavorful and expertly prepared! The location offers easy parking, which is a huge plus in this busy complex. The menu has lot of choices, from steamed buns to dumplings, fried rice, and soup. One highlight was the option to purchase items frozen to take home and enjoy at any time.Overall, it is a fantastic spot for anyone looking for delicious steamed buns and dumplings !“
“As I write this I am so full I can barely move!! I ordered the Mongolian beef dinner special, it's enough for two full lunches! I read someone said the food was bland ?? I actually found it cooked perfect without a lot of oil and salt, great fresh taste! I loved that the noodles and beef were not overcompensated with a ton of veggies, I thought the balance was great. I ordered over the phone to go, very good service. The restaurant looked so inviting that I will dine in next time. Would recommend with a 5 star review.“
“BBQ 85 offers a delightful array of Northeastern Shenyang-style dishes that tantalize the taste buds. Their sweet and sour pork bursts with authentic flavors, while the amazing fried chicken delivers a satisfying crunch. Don't miss out on their oysters paired with garlic noodles for a savory treat, and the lamb skewers provide a flavorful option. With such a diverse menu, BBQ 85 promises a memorable dining experience for food enthusiasts seeking authentic and delicious Northeastern Chinese cuisine. They also have Karaoke ? inside!“
“This place opens sharp at 10 am on Sundays. If your party is not all there, you will be asked to wait until they arrive. Food is very good. We have enjoyed, Shu Mai, Har Gow, Shrimp in Rice Noodles, Chinese Donut in Rice Noodle, Deep Fried Dumplings, Veggie & Pork Tofu Skin in Oyster Sauce, Shanghai Dumplings, Sticky Rice, Deep Fried Crab Claws, Crispy Pork and Many others.Staff can be very friendly and some not too responsive. Either way we get our food and we enjoy it very much.“
“First impression means a lot when you are trying out a new place. The greetings from the staff was so cheerful and pleasant. Don't know her name but she wears her hair in two ponytails. Even though we are supposed to order online they still come by to take our orders and clarify questions we may have. A lot of restaurants don't bother. We had the pickled cabbage fish and the pork cartilage noodles. They are good! Though they can time down the salt a bit more but that's a personal preference. The pickled potatoes is a good appetizer. Would definitely recommend this place.“
“First time ever on Hot Pot adventure. Opted for Best of both worlds with spicy and mushroom soups. Both were delicious. There are lot of protein options in the buffet, anyone with no food restrictions will enjoy to the fullest. We mostly sticked to Lamb & couple of seafood items. Lamb Skewers & Lamb Shank stood out as must try delicacies.Only disappointment was that the server not understanding my inquiry on Anniversary celebration offering . Not sure if it was me or his understanding of English. Despite various attempts & rephrasing, the guy to my surprise doesn't understand the words "Anniversary", "Wedding", "Wedding day", "Wedding Anniversary", "Celebration", etc. Other than that no complaints.“
“Absolutely love this hidden gem . My reviews are for the spice lovers, who prefers extra hot. We enjoyed our dinner. My all time favorite, sauteed lotus root. We also ordered shredded pork, green onion pancake, chicken fried rice and shrimp fried rice. Thoroughly enjoyed every bite of the lotus. My go-to when it comes to Chinese! Hot Tea is good as well, very much needed for the season.“
“Not too many places for Taiwanese food in the East Bay, so I am glad to find Chan's Kitchen in Dublin. We tried the classics: stinky tofu, sticky rice sausage, Taiwanese(tapioca) meat ball, oyster pancake, prawns noodle soup, beef roll/burrito, and stir fried sweet(oil) rice. Most were Ok, not the best I had, but the standouts were the stir fried sweet rice, which reminded me of my grandma's cooking, and the beef roll/burrito, although the portion is a bit small. They give you a laminated menu, but you order and pay by scanning the QR code. We will come back to try other traditional dishes like beef noodle soup.“
“We had an assortment of dishes and shared all as one would family style. The sauces and ingredients were quality almost as good as we had overseas. What highlighted the key ingredient was the noodles. Better than most casual locales we’ve experienced. I couldn’t recollect the Korean dish names, but check the pics. After lunch, we came to the consensus that the dishes we had were better than expected. Our foodie has been to Santa Clara location as well and precedes that this location has better quality pork dishes. Hope someone will agree or have similar experiences. As always, post wherever you end up.“
“Been coming here for well over a decade now! Food has been consistently delicious over the years and the restaurant is actually more of HK Cafe these days which is perfect since those are pretty rare in the pleasanton/dublin area. Food is a bit pricey (honestly all Chinese food is pricey these days for some reason) but at least the quality here warrants it in my opinion. The waitress aunties are super friendly and attentive and the interior is clean and modern (recently remodeled). However sometimes when it gets busy, which it often does during peak hours, the food can take a bit longer to come out. I feel like they are slightly understaffed. Some of my favorites: I love how they put baby octopus in their baked seafood rice. They also do a somewhat different take on the chili oil wonton and its insanely good. For drinks, their HK milk tea, lemon tea, and red bean ice are on point!“
