I've been seeing this restaurant for the last few years but never stopped in. I've been looking for a decent buffet since the Hometown Buffet left. The Golden Corral just doesn't fit our likes, but that's another story.Today, my wife and I stopped off at the New Century Buffet and were greeted by Aida. Great food. Lobster roll is very delicious. Great sushi too, even had avocado on one of the rolls. Multiple trays of shrimp, one sweet coconut, another savory garlic. Ambrosia salad was a nice palate cleanser not too rich or too sweet with yummy mandarins and pineapple. Great price. With soda on Saturday lunch my total was just under $24. The meal was very good and fresh and was kept fresh on the plates. Everything was restocked regularly. If you are a senior citizen you must tell them when you come in because they can't tell from your grey hair. The charge for hot tea is exorbitant.And not included with your dinner price. The variety that was available was very good. The weight staff was very responsive and cleared used plates quickly. The facility is spacious and adequately handles a large number of people.
