Hidden gem alert! I don't know who runs the kitchen here but the food is surprisingly fantastic. The spicy fried chicken (辣子鸡) here is a great rendition and they have some dishes featuring duck blood curd, which is still pretty hard to find. The vibe here is that of a casual Chinese drinking establishment, and admittedly if you don't speak Chinese you may find that the atmosphere is a bit chilly and that service is not particularly attentive. This place really reminds of restaurants in china. Very big and body with television screens everywhere but a distinct shortage of customers. Maybe this is an EB5 joint. But the food is quite good. I ordered the twice cooked pork and cumin lamb.
