“I knew it was going to be fire from the crumb of smoked fried chicken breading I had from my bf's plate. I had to take a moment to prepare myself. The fried chicken was so expertly seasoned and crispy. I got the 3 meat combo, pretty reasonably priced for the amount of meat I got. The sauce is awesome and the meat is juicy and tender. I had to take my nose ring off cause I was so serious about this BBQ. Cornbread is so soft and fluffy and tastes like something your grandma made. The writing on the bricks from people all over were not lying. Nice people behind the counter and great vibe. Best food I've had in El Segundo.“
“The food here is really great, and they have a good selection of Wine, Beer, and Cider. The burgers are really good and a nice variety. I love getting the chips instead of the fries, trust me on this they are sooo good. The patio is so nice because you can sit outside and enjoy yourselves, and there's lots of space so it's a great place for groups. Parking is also easy in Downtown El Segundo, and the service here has always been top notch and very friendly,in true El Segundo fashion!“
“All five of us had something different. The BLT salad was wonderful, the turkey and swiss cheese was so so. The bread was wonderful but the turkey and cheese were tasteless. One of the other salads had way too many peppers in it. The avocado toast with egg on top was great.“

“I am prefacing this review by stating the I just stopped by here for a quick drink (no food) as I was checking out the The Point, the shopping a mall that contains Lil' Simmzy's.I at first did not realize they actually serve some of their own beers, but once I saw that I went with their Hazy IPA option. Along with that I also got a cocktail, the Paloma. The beer was pretty good, standard along with most the other Hazy IPA's that I've had. I'll say that this one was a little less hoppy than others I've had. The Paloma was one of the better ones I have tasted. It's made with mezcal instead of the usual tequila, so you can taste that "smokey" difference which I find people either enjoy or don't. I like the ancho salt rim on the drink, both for taste & look.Service was pretty good and the place has a relaxed beachy vibe and nice overall feel. I think it's all outside seating which is fitting for the overall vibe and works well for being in the The Point. Ordered at the counter and self seated. I'd come here again to sip on a drink while I take a break from shopping.The only one, somewhat larger, somewhat understandable downfall was the amount of dust at the table. When I grabbed a napkin, I noticed how dirty my hands got just from touching it due to the amount of dust/dirt in general at the table since it's outside seating.Cheers!“
“I'm a s***** for simple foods done well, and I prefer food that's full of flavor prior to adding sauce (sorry, USA and France). BUT WAIT. The girl that doesn't use ketchup on fries or bbq sauce on pulled pork says TRY THESE SAUCES! I learned that all Stix & Straws sauces are scratch-made in-house, and not in the "add seasoning packet to mayo" way. The concept here is similar to yakitori, but the protein options range from grilled fish (a must!) to chicken and waffles. All. On. Stix. The sides are homemade and tasty as well. The $19 4-Stix combo easily feeds two average lunch appetites, as it comes with rice + salad + an additional side. $19 FOR TWO PEOPLE?! Score.The downside is that it closes at 7:30pm and isn't open Sat-Sun... but all in all, if you're looking for a clean, tasty, no-frills strip mall lunch/early dinner, give it a shot“
“I took a late picture of my food... The filet mignon is a hidden gem at the standard!! It's been on the menu for a bit. It just never wanted to try...I'm into the bar food and just didn't feel like a filet mignon at a bar.... ORDER IT!!' The sauce it's served with is excellent,. And the veg and mash...just fits right...and you can't beat the price!!... 100% recommend!! “I'm seeing quite a few reviews here about people going out of their way to visit this place. If you're reading this before you visit, that's not really what it's for. This is the in-house cafeteria/bar at an ice skating facility. It's not a standalone pub or restaurant. So, if you're dropping by for a free skate session, or if you have a kid enrolled in one of the hockey or skating classes, it's perfectly convenient to grab a bite afterwards without having to go somewhere else. Otherwise, skip.With that being said, the food here is actually quite good, but it's a bit more expensive than you'd expect - again, it's the in-house cafeteria/bar at an ice skating facility, and it ought to be priced that way.“
“I always enjoy True Food Kitchen for it's diverse and unique offerings. The food is always fresh and the wait staff and very friendly and professional. This is healthy, clean food. I especially appreciate the array of vegan options, not just a mock meat burger and a side salad, but legit tasty vegan options throughout the menu, including dessert! It's one of the few places I can confidently go with none vegans and know we'll both enjoy something on the menu.“

The burger was really plain though, and they were out of mustard and ketchup. “Atmosphere was what you would expect from a sports bar. Visiting from out of town, we sat at the bar promptly greeted by a bartender. Service was fine, the food was exceptional. Not above what you would expect from your typical Bar. The bartender recommended that we have the quesadilla as an appetizer, and we were certainly not disappointed. my wife had the BLTA it was huge and quite good. I have the devil’s Philly. It was also not disappointed. The soup was beef barley, which was probably the highlight of the meal. If you’re in the area, you should definitely give them a shot.“
“It's an older bar without the woke presence. They have ample free parking and an outdoor area. Nothing fancy. Food ok but again nothing fancy. Definitely a locals bar. I dropped in last week and it's been a few years since there. Nothing changed. Service is good, beer is cold, not a lot of noise going on. Good place to relax and if the sun is shining the patio is nice enough.“
