Stopped by Rafa's taco truck for the first time this afternoon. 5 asada taco's with everything. This was the first time i tried but its not going to be the last. The food was fresh and on point. Ok, this truck was around the corner from the movie theaters- Regal. I said "why not have some tacos before the movies." I got the quesabirria plate and I thought they were good. The tortilla wasn't covered in oil and it had a good ratio of the cheese and meat. I added cilantro and onion to them, but it wasn't complete without the consume. We've been here at least 5 times in 2023. They are really good!!! And we want to keep going but we are getting tired of their inconsistencies. 9 times out of 10 they are out of my favorite carnitas by 3pm!! It never fails, and is such a bummer after you drive out of your way to go this particular truck (on Mc Henry) versus going to 30 other taco trucks in Modesto but choose this one.
