“My family and I have been coming to chicks for 25 years and it has always been one of my favorites. I now am 25 and living in North Carolina and every time I come home to visit, chicks is my first meal. I would have it every day if I could. Their chicken is delicious as well as all of their sides to chose from and their corn bread is to die for. The owner and staff are like family and box every dish with love. “Insane breakfast burritos! Worth the line. The sausage egg and avo is my favorite. Do not park in the seaside parking lot or you'll get towed... their plate breakfasts are good, too but the burritos are enormous and have so much flavor. Definitely recommend when you're by the beach and looking for a good breakfast.“
“This is a local hang out out and I eat here with a friend that eats here almost daily. Good comfort food , great service and lots of breakfast and lunch combinations. They also had a gluten free toast for my breakfast. Also plenty of healthy options like fruit, granola and whipped cream. “Great food, excellent selection of wine to choose from. They let you pick anything from the bottle shop and enjoy it over dinner, but they charge a corkage fee for their own wine. That's poor. The restaurant is old and hasn't been updated in 20 years probably. Staff was friendly and made for an enjoyable evening but won't necessarily need to go back with so many other great options out there.“
“Great local spot and my go to dive bar to watch sports and enjoy bar food. They have wing wednesday and my top picks are there philly cheesesteak with fried green beans, lemon pepper dry rub wings, and the bratwurst. Service is unique and puts a fun twist on letting you know your order is ready with funny names. Cant go wrong with any if their beers on the wall, i typically go with the #15 or #22 hazy beer“

“As a local in & out loyalist, I regret to announce that my head has officially been turned with our new neighbors north, Crispy Burger. I say “new” because it’s new to me, as I was reluctant to try this truckstop-esq spot. But boy, do I tell you, if you’re a fan of smashburgers, look no further. The burgers, fries and milkshakes are divine. Combine this with great prices, exceptipnal service, and the delight of great ranch (this truly matters), it's a sure recipe for weekly cravings. Im so happy I live a stones throw away. Overlook the highway pit stop and do yourself a favor trying crispy burger ASAP.“
