“Having fun and cheap drinks at a landmark before it gets redeveloped.Good bless Jerry for all of the amazing things that has done for his employees and the locals of Encinitas. And the food is on point, it is not a fast food joint..Thank you Jerry for all you have done for my family and this community.“
“The food and drinks here are phenomenal! The seats outside or near the windows remind me of the marine room, especially during high tide. My husband and I like to come here for little celebrations and am never disappointed. We have tried numerous appetizers, meals, and cocktails, all of which tasted delicious. Their seafood dishes are unbeatable. The service is always friendly and quick. The valet price is reasonable too.Parking: There is a valet that is great and pretty cheap.“
“Regardless if you eat at the bar or the dining room- the food will be wonderful. I like to get a bar reservation when I'm in the mood for their unique sushi. I'm always treated to the freshest plates and epic service! The dining room is more limited. A three course dinner and an upscale atmosphere. You really can't go wrong. The Market is a place I frequent regularly.“
“Nice casual place. Order at the front and they bring your food on your table. I had their carnitas with meal. Delicious. Very busy during weekends. Lots of takeout waiting. Take advantage of their daily happy hour. Great staff. Super friendly. Good selections of desserts.Cheers“
“Pillbox had good reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Solid slightly above pub grub style food, good beer selection and friendly staff. Can’t go wrong. Really liked the overall feel of this place, and would be a regular if I lived in the area.“
“Both the Turkey Club and the Salmon Burger were amazing. The fries however were overcooked. Great portion size and great cut for the fries, just sat a bit too long in oil. The atmosphere and service is great. Prices are adequate for the area.“
“This place has totally transformed and they serve really great food (the food has always been amazing but the ambiance is event better now)! We’ve had salads, corn, wings, burgers and sandwiches! We’ve brought our kids during the day, and it’s totally kid friendly. The owner, Pete, has been wonderful to us…we’ll keep on going for sure!“
“Went out for a business dinner and I couldn't have asked for better. The food was great and the service was exceptional. Ambiance definitely helped. We will absolutely be back! Definitely one of our new favorite places. Only recommendation from the whole group was to please chop the Caesar salad. (It was still great though. Lol )“
“What's not to love about this place? Talk about a hidden gem. You can tell the staff enjoy being there as much as the patrons who are always laughing and sharing stories. They have a great selection of beers and other drinks to choose from, DO NOT eat elsewhere as their menu has made from scratch hand crafted options. I highly recommend their chicken tortilla soup, the wings, or their rib dip.“
“We came here for lunch on a Sunday and I ordered the chile relleno and a spicy skinny margarita - both were great! The place looks great, too - there's a designer/decorator somewhere who needs a raise! The only drawback was the music from the live band playing outside was SO LOUD even though we were sitting inside on the opposite end of the restaurant. The music was good and would have been enjoyable if only it wasn't quite so loud.“
“Right on the water — great location. It was a Sunday night, so not busy at all. Our server (Chris) was excellent! Salmon was a little overcooked, but still tasty. Brussels Sprouts were some of the best I've ever had. Overall pleased with our decision to try it out; we'll go back again.“
“Had a great blue burger, truffle fries, whiskey coke, live music with lots of seating and standing space. My server, Coco, was the greatest and found me inside it outside mingling to make sure I was all good.So many friends attended the event, had dinner and enjoyed the night.Parking: A section is reserved for performers.“
“Had a nice lunch here. First time visit. We sat in the back area since we were a large group. Our waitress was attentive. The food was good. I think I will visit this place the next time I am in town with my brothers who would probably like it. It was the perfect place for a large party but I would like to see what it is like with just a few people having a drink and a bite to eat. They say the atmosphere in the regular area is very comfy. So next visit, I will be back. 8/7/23“
“This is my new go to place in Carlsbad. The food, drinks, and staff are all top notch! HH every day at 3:00pm, open for breakfast and will stay open late as long as there are people in the bar. If you haven't been here yet - you're missing out - just don't take my spot at the bar!!“
“Came for the comedy show, had a good time. $15 minimum food/drink order for entry, which is fine.Food was good, everyone had burgers. The hamburger buns were dry and flaky, they fell apart as soon as we picked up the burgers. Fries were nice and crispy.Hard ciders were fantastic, especially the pineapple. Thought the draft beer was a bit overpriced compared to most, but it tasted good.Waitresses were friendly and attentive, but also very forgetful. We had to ask for our drinks a few times as she brought out one thing or another. Cashing out was difficult too, we ended up just getting up to give our card to the bartender. No one came by for 10+ minutes after the show ended to even ask.Not a fan of the fact that they automatically charge 18% gratuity, then tax it on top of your subtotal. Rubbed me the wrong way. I’m ok to be automatically charged gratuity, but to also tax it? No thanks. It was cool to check out while visiting the area, but I don’t think I’d become a regular if I lived here.“
“The Grill was able to seat our large party of 11 adults and two toddlers. Service was excellent -- all staff was friendly and professional throughout our meal. Very pleasant guitar/singer. Great views of folks on the driving range & beyond. We ordered a variety of meals, drinks, and desserts and everything was very, very good.“
“When we arrived we found there to be a bit of a line for checking in on a Monday evening however once we got to the front and Rebecca helped us we forgot all about the wait. She was so thoughtful, thorough and professional in explaining everything to my mom and I. My mom is recently been having to use a wheelchair and Rebecca was so intuitive that she asked my mom if she might need some other medical devices to make her stay more comfortable. We didn’t even know they had these things available and they were already waiting for us when we got to the room. Shower chair and toilet riser. The place was beautiful, large luxurious rooms with fantastic amenities. My mom said it was the most beautiful place she had ever stayed which brought tears to my eyes. The only thing I would suggest is more handicapped parking spaces. We had to park some dip from our from in the 61 building and with a wheelchair and luggage proved a challenge but again the only suggestion I would make. We stayed in the cove area and yes there was construction but I was only during the daytime and we were made fully aware prior to check in. As for the small amount of noise from Lego land we rather enjoyed hearing the beautiful laughter of happy families enjoying each others company while make memories.“
“Went to watch a college basketball game with friends and had an excellent experience. The place was busy but our waitress still gave us great service. The drinks came out very quickly but most of all the waitress was upbeat and fun. Our used dishes were removed right away. The whole wait staff worked together well and were so friendly. Food is good and they have a good happy hour.“
“Great local spot and my go to dive bar to watch sports and enjoy bar food. They have wing wednesday and my top picks are there philly cheesesteak with fried green beans, lemon pepper dry rub wings, and the bratwurst. Service is unique and puts a fun twist on letting you know your order is ready with funny names. Cant go wrong with any if their beers on the wall, i typically go with the #15 or #22 hazy beer“
