“I’ve had the pleasure of eating here twice and I can’t wait to go back again. The staff are super friendly and the food is high quality. Definitely a new favorite spot to eat! I’m vegetarian so I appreciate they have a nice selection of vegetarian items. The chai tea is delicious and alone worth going back for more.“
“I tend to be disappointed with the local restaurants but THIS PLACE IS THE EXCEPTION. The food is prepared with care and high-quality ingredients. The flavors are excellent and the dishes are always the right consistency. I also appreciate that when I request spicy, I get spicy!“
“Been to the new establishment a couple times. Today I asked for Samosa and they asked me if I've tried Samosa Chaat. Going with his recommendation, I ordered it to go. It is delicious. I like the fact that they are have such pride in ownership and so confident with their dishes. We've tried several dishes (incl. Aloo Gobi, Tandoori Chicken) and are all excellent.“
“I would give them 10 stars. ?We arrived at the place 30 minutes before closing and even so the staff's attention was super friendly. I was amazed by the good disposition at all times and of course by the excellent quality of the food. The unique flavor. Definitely, as soon as possible, I will go to eat their delicacies. I congratulate you for having excellence in everything.“
“This is probably the best Indian style cuisine you're going to get in the area. Their flavors are so rich and so full, they really boil down the spices well in the oil before they make their sauces -- it is really delicious. There nans are light and fluffy, and their sauces or buttery, savory and decadently rich.I absolutely love coming here, their positive attitudes and great service really make you feel welcomed. Not to mention the food is amazing, Make sure you try the lamb saag.“
“Great food no doubt, unfortunately this time the wait time was unreasonable, placed the take out order and was told it would be about 20 minutes..... about 50 minutes later had to ask to check on the order, after which they came out with it promptly so I guess it was sitting in the kitchen...“
“The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable about ingredients and flavors for each plate. The slit pea soup, lamb, and tandoori chicken with veggies was delicious, I would come back every time I'm in town it was soo good. Sitting outside gives you a view of a fountain and music from nearby restaurants.“
“Have tried this place a few times so far (both dine in and delivery -- a la carte only), and the food has been consistently good. Our favorites have been idli (has gotten better over time), vada, pongal and bhel puri. The dosas are decent too. Kids like their set dosa. The chutneys are very good too. I notice that with most South Indian restaurants, the quality of chutneys deteriorates over time, but so far they've maintained the quality. I really hope they keep up the quality of food.“
“Love this place! Very authentic/exotic and peaceful atmosphere, the people are very kind, the food is amazing, the portions are great, and the lunch specials give you both variety and good portions for a great deal. Definitely going to be one of my favorite spots from now on.“
“Owner is very cooperative. He understands that we are looking for healthy, no oil, no cream yet flavorful food which is exactly what we get each time we order from here. We have tried most all dishes. Very good service. They also own Virsa. We are regulars.“
“Great place, great food, great service but very expensive for vegatarian Indian food. 3 dishes with 3 different Nan, $135 with tip. We didn't order any expensive meat dishes. Not sure I will go again but I have to admit, it was good. Most restaurants whimp out when you request spicy but they delivered.“
“The food is delicious. I keep going back. I go here to dine in, and I also get take out or delivery. It's too tasty to stay away. The items I keep choosing are a little heavy, and the buffet doesn't help me have a light meal when eating in. But that's because I can't stop eating it because it tastes too good.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options and they are delicious.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegetarian options and they are delicious.“
“Everyone is very super friendly and helpful and accommodating. Food was outstanding will definitely make it a regular stop for me !!!Vegetarian options: I bet they would do anything vegetarian if you asked very nice peopleDietary restrictions: I asked for no cream, and they used coconut instead wonderful very accommodating“
“Madras cafe’s food was amazing! We ordered samosa chaat, mysore masala dosa, pepper chicken curry and rava masala dosa …all dishes were good and mouth watering! Service was good and restaurant was very neat clean… good vibes!!! Would recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants to try good Indian food!“
“If you're not eating here while charging the Tessie, you're doing it wrong. This food is not only shamelessly authentic, but the guys are very cool, friendly, and attentive to customer requests. Plus... Best garlic naan in san Diego hands down.“
“Curry and More in San Marcos is a culinary gem, offering an exquisite journey through the flavors of India. Their Paneer Makhni is a creamy delight, and the Lamb Shank Nalli Nihari is a succulent masterpiece. The live tandoor adds a sizzling touch to their Tandoori Roti and Naan, creating a perfect accompaniment to their flavorful dishes. To top it off, the Pista Kulfi dessert is nothing short of heavenly, making every visit a memorable feast for the senses. This restaurant truly stands out for its authentic taste, warm ambiance, and a menu that transports you straight to the heart of Indian cuisine.“
“Ever since I discovered this place I always go back when I am in the mood for Indian food. It is so delicious and authentic I will never go to another place again. The employees are friendly and nice. I really recommend it if you want indian food or comfort food.“
“Always amazing. NOT to be confused with the other Everest Himalayan across town (which I avoid after a bad experience.) The staff here are just-the-right-amount of friendly and personable and the food is always excellent.Dietary restrictions: I've been missing out on Vegetable Pokara...there's is made.of chickpea flour and is gluten friendly! As well as the Papad which is a perfect little starter.“
