“My "Pad See You" was very good, the lunch portion included soup and an egg roll. The service was prompt and pleasant. Upon arrival on a cold January day the front door was propped open. As a result the seating area in the restaurant was cold. The interior atmosphere is blah. The noise level was reasonable, it permitted easy conversation.“
“I'm quite selective when it comes to Thai food, and I find that a Thai restaurant's drunken noodle dish is a reliable indicator of their overall food quality. It should possess the perfect blend of consistency, flavor, quality, and spiciness. I would easily rate their drunken noodle a perfect 10 out of 10 in all these aspects. If you happen to be in the area, I highly recommend giving it a try.“
“If you can eat gluten this place is fantastic. They have a lot of GF next to dishes but in the small print below, on the menu, it says it can be made GF but you have to ask. I have been sick 3 days now because of this misunderstanding. I may go back, but maybe not. This is why I prefer to eat at home.Dietary restrictions: Be absolutely sure to tell your wait person that you must have GF or other dietary restrictions.“
“Ordered the below:1. Crispy Pork belly- worst itemOn the menu- this was not crispy- chewy- microwave heated?? - was a 0/52. Spring rolls- were good 4/53. Satay. Chicken - was ok- 3/54. panang curry with TOFU- was pretty good- 4/55. Spicy Fried rice with chicken was really good too- 4/56.Drunken noodles- chicken was ok- 3/5Service- was excellent - owner lady may be- 5/5Place is very small, so plan accordingly.Food was good but for the fries pork belly- just avoid FPBelly- rest of the food was really good.Definitely recommend.“
“Vegetariana Review:We've visited Kiin well in the doble digits. My wife and I have been to a variety of Thai restaurants in San Diego yet everytime we go back to Kiin we truly wonder why we even try any other place.I usually test a place by the quality of the fried rice. Many places have an excuse or fried rice. Very few specialize in it, so it's a great dish to test the overall quality of a place. Theirs is second to none I've had in San Diego so far.It is a very good place to go with mixed diets (vegan, omnivore, vegetarian). The menu isn't a huge selection, but at the same time I've never had a bad fish in this place. The portions are of good size, service has always been good, decorations are great. This however isn't a quiet place (specially at night) as there are several other dinners up there and there is music playing for all. This doesn't mean you can't have a conversation here, but keep in mind if you're looking for a more romantic place.“
“Best Thai I’ve ever had. Every time I come back we get new dishes only to be blown away yet again. Absolutely phenomenal food, service and atmosphere. You will not be disappointed. This spot is guaranteed to end up on your top favorites list.Tom kha soup is the best broth I’ve ever tried, the duck curry is easily the best curry of any kind I’ve had, and the Thai bbq ribs are just outrageously good. This place never misses.“
“Today was the first time I try Torsap Thai kitchen! I went with my husband and my son for dinner. It was an excellent experience !!! We all were very happy with the whole experience. The restaurant is very clean and very nicely decorated !!!The food is amazing. We first shared a soup and a salad ( and yes, both were big enough to share for 3)They even bring you cups to share the soup. Then, we each had our own main dish!! Everything was sooo delicious !!!!The service is very good and fast . Our serverJeff was excellent too, friendly and always smiling !!!The prices are very reasonable !!!They even have lunch specials ( 3 course for 22$)I will definitely try that soon.Jeff even told us they have Tuesday all day happy hour!!!!Thumbs up, Torsap!!!“
“Nice Thai place, good location, good parking space (store front). Tried noodle, curry, and specialty dishes. Generally well cooked, full of flavor, okay portion. I'd like to see more fresh seafood ingredients for the specialty dish, but can't complain per inflation... Not a perfect spot, but can't go wrong for sure.Parking: Sufficient spaces, in front of the store.“
“I got the Singapore noodle dish with vegetables and it was so delicious! I got a level 5 spice and it was just the right amount. The portion size was a lot bigger than I had expected so it lasted me a while. I also got the fried tofu as a side and equally as delicious! Would recommend if you ever want to try a new Thai dish or stick to your comfort!“
“We had the lunch specials; red curry for her, yellow curry for me. The lunch included a cup of soup, a bowl of curry, a scoop of rice, a fried spring roll with plum sauce, and a small bowl of cole slaw. This was a good, substantial lunch and I really enjoyed it. The proprietor was very nice and attentive. There were a couple of minor things that cost them a star. The soup broth was warm and tasty, but the mushrooms and vegetables had been just added and were still raw. The cole slaw had a dollop of dressing on top but not mixed in so the bottom 2/3 of the bowl was dry. I would still go back again and try more of their menu.“
“We eat Thai cuisine quite a bit and this place ranks among the best! The menu offers a large variety of traditional Thai dishes - our favorite is Kao Soi but there are so many other wonderful options. Service is excellent and the food is memorable. Will return again and again.“
“Onny's Thai Restaurant was great! I'm so glad we found this place. I ordered the Tofu Pad Thai. I was so full but couldn't stop eating it because the flavors were so delicious! I only did level 2 (out of 10) spice since I don't like my food super spicy. I probably could've gone with a 3 or 4 just for a little kick. I would definitely recommend and would come back!“
“I've been meaning to come here for some time but never in the area when craving Thai food. Finally!!!My first time was a to go order and I neglected to take pictures or do a Yelp posting. My bad.But let me tell you, it was delicious.Let's skip to our second visit. This time we decided to eat here. We went with pad thai and an order of potstickers. The pad thai was cooked perfect and tasty and there was a lot of food. The pot stickers were delicious. On our to go order, we had ordered spring rolls with shrimp. OMG!! Probably one of the best I've ever had. They were big and delicious. When you walk in, you notice the kitchen. So you can kinda see inside. I like that. There's a row of tables. Hard to explain, you just need to see it.Staff is very nice. The two times I've been there, it's not busy. I really hope it picks up.Oh, most importantly, the prices are not bad for the quality and amount of food you get.“
“My wife and I go to Thai Pasta for lunch at least once a week. The food is great and the people there are friendly. They do a lot of take-out and Doordash orders, but not a lot of dine-in, so it is normally a nice, quiet place for lunch. The food arrives quickly if you need a quick lunch, but there is never a rush to leave.“
“Best SUSHI in North County San Diego!!!! Aaron the Sushi Chef is a Master Sushi Chef, Bill the owner makes sure he has the best freshest fish possible…. Don’t forget to order my favorite soup Hot Pot of Chicken Wonton Soup WITH Extra Bok Choi and garlic ….. All the Curries are to die for.. the Thai Boat platter is great !“
“I got the BBQ pork pad thai at lunch and it came with fried wonton and spring roll. The pad thai was a little more saucy than usual, but it's not bad; it does not come with peanuts, so if you like peanuts to go with your pad thai like I do, you'd have to ask them for the spice tray. The portion is ok and I like the ratio between the protein and the noodles. I also got the Thai iced tea and it's also alright. Nothing really stood out but it's not a bad lunch place.“
“My favorite Thai place in San Diego county, I’ve been coming here almost weekly for two years. Great service, every dish is excellent, and food is ready fast.Lots of options for dietary restrictions — they always do a great job with accommodating my seafood allergy.Vegetarian options: Spring rolls are vegetarian and excellent.Dietary restrictions: Always accommodates my seafood allergy without issue.“
“Pad See Ew & Pad Thai are a must, Tom Yum/Kha are both really good but suggest eating at restaurant for the fire pot (takeout is still good but not the same) a little pricey, but it is worth it. Same two people working every time I've been, they seem like the owners. Support this small business!Very tasty, don't underestimate the spice levels!“
“This is my go-to Thai place. Almost every time we order the food is ready in 20 minutes (the latest was the only exception, and it took 40 minutes). I think we ate in here once many years ago, but I live nearby and exclusively do takeout. They do have a large patio, which I assume is dog friendly, but I've never asked. They are able to do white people level spice (aka none) which I appreciate. All the curries come with enough rice. When my wife goes on travel for work I get the Pad Thai and a couple of curries and that's enough food for lunch and dinner for me for a good 4-5 days. It's good value. I've never seen the place empty, and when I was there last there were like 10 other people picking up mobile orders, which is a sign that it's good.“
“This is hands down my favorite restaurant in north county San Diego. I absolutely love it. My favorite thing to get is the green curry with mock duck.Drinks - fantasticDessert - fantasticFood - extra fantasticAtmosphere - beautiful and funStaff - amazing! They are always happy and friendly.I definitely recommend Plumeria.“
