Thank god Bamboo House survived Covid because I could not survive without Bamboo House. Delicious Chinese food - flavorful, not greasy, vegetables are well cooked… Favorite dishes include aromatic shrimp, egg fu yung, kung pao beef, and mu shu chicken. Friendly staff, too. Don’t miss this spot!
This place is decent but very different compared to royal mandarin and golden chopsticks in National City. My friends and I tried the beef lo-mein, braised tofu with vegetables, and honey beef with a side of white rice. The portions were pretty big and enough to feed 6-7 people family style without having leftovers. The service was good and seemed like a mom and pop type of restaurant. I would come back for the dine-in service and try other dishes family style.

I haven’t been to the Bamboo House since we moved out of state in 2016. We really miss their food! We ate at the Bamboo House for over 20 years and never had a bad meal. I wish they would open another place where we live now.
