Looking for a decent place to have a sit down meal? Forget all those chain restaurants who want you in and out faster than their last hookup. Paulitas will treat you right no matter what you order. I recommend the Chile Relleno plate as it is always delicious and made with love and fresh ingredients. The salsa can be inconsistent here, in this case it's a good thing. Whatever they put out you'll be heading back for more. Parking is in the back, I just ride here or walk.
They have perfected the burrito! It was nearest place open on New Year's Day and I thought I'd take a chance. I ordered a carne asada bean rice and cheese burrito with low expectations as I continue my search through the South West U.S. for a great burrito. Wow! Not only was it the best burrito I've ever had, it was absolutely perfect. It wasn't greasy, it didn't drip, it didn't fall apart. The spices, the seasoning, the balance and proportion of ingredients made every bite enjoyable....read full review
It's definitely a hole in the wall but the food was delicious. I accidentally drove by it twice. The menudo was delicious and staff was friendly. Will be going back for the menudo again.
