“I Own a Philly cheesesteak place downtown so I wanted to try this place out. First off the staff is amazing and friendly. Very welcoming. Right when you walk in you see the smiling employees and you can tell this is a family establishment. The hot pastrami was one of the best I’ve ever had. “I really enjoyed this location a lot. We went in for some sandwiches and the staff was very friendly and very informative. There is no room to sit and eat, but that is fine as well. The menu had quite a few options besides sandwiches as well. We ordered a meatball sandwich and a pastrami. They come in 8 or 16 inches. I actually got a few meals out of the 16-inch meatball sandwich, so that was good. Their bread is perfect; not too crunchy and not soggy. It added to the flavorful meatballs (and pastrami) so that was nice too. We also got a pickle that they split in four so we could share. Really tasty. For a great sandwich made by nice people, this is the place!“
“It's a small shop in the industrial sector of Escondido. Not that easy to find, but worth finding it. But it's really not that hard either. It's privately owned by Eric who was the sole worker there. Eric was very nice and welcoming. I got the sandwich and salad combo special. I got the ultimate torpedo sandwich that was soooo good. Soooo much meat (that's what she said) for only half a sandwich. And you get a full sized salad too for only $10! He makes everything right there in front of you. Everything is delicious and uses fresh, yummy ingredients. So please, go here! This is the type of small businesses we want to support. Did I mention it's delicious?!“
“The best Jersey Mike's in North County thus far, they're the most consistent and least likely to skimp on the meat portions lol. Everyone I've dealt with is courteous and professional, unlike other locations I've been to around the area. We usually order online for take-out and it's always ready before the time they quote you. I've never dined in, but everything always looks clean and organized. I'll keep making this my go-to Jersey Mike's while I'm in the area.“

“We LOVE these sandwiches!!!! We get them all the time. It's not just super processed, cheap, slimy ingredients like subway it REAL meat, amazing bread and all great ingredients! Nothing is the cheap low quality (I won't lie the Mac salad is NOT good though). And toasted it's soooo delicious!“
“The service was phenomenal and the food was beyond anything we have had in North County, honestly. While the food is very obviously elegant, the atmosphere is a nice mix of upscale and local Escondido comfort. The dishes are different each week and each course is very rich and appeals to many unique appetites! The only downside for us is it is very expensive (worth it, though, for sure!), so we cannot go as often!“

“I loooove Sunnyside! My fiancé and I typically come here on saturdays and always really enjoy it. The service is great, the restaurant is cute, and the food is fantastic. I always say this when we're there but I feel like what makes Sunnyside so good is that it doesn't taste like restaurant food. It reminds me of like, the best sandwich you, or someone who loves you, would make to eat at home.“
