The food is amazing. I ordered the beef spicy food and it was out of this world that for reference I ordered the same order in other restaurants and they pale in comparison. You really can taste the love that they put into the food.I eat here at least once a week and will be doing so moving forward.
If I am craving a banh mi sandwich, this is the place i turn to. It is located next to the supermarket. They sell sandwiches to noodle soup to spring rolls and egg rolls. Their sandwiches are a good portion, I can only eat half of it in one sitting. Plenty to share. The meat to veggie ratio is perfect. The bread is soft and doesn't cut up the top of my mouth. First time visitors, we ordered a healthy variety of things from sweet (do NOT miss the pandan coconut cake/banh bo) to savory. The banh mi are great, but in my opinion the real stars are the steamed dumplings (banh bot loc).Everything we tried was made with care, skill, and high quality ingredients. Just wish they were located closer to us, but I'll make a point to visit whenever I'm in Escondido.
