“My kids think themselves, Michelin chefs. They're always critiquing the food, and even if I think it's ok, they are eager to point out the flaws. In this case, they gave it a thumbs up. I also give it a thumbs service was great and staff was very eager to help. If I lived close by I'd definitely be coming more often.Kid-friendliness: Good options for kids“
“When it comes to sushi, freshness, presentation, and taste are paramount, and 3Go Sushi surpasses expectations on all fronts. Their Firecracker Roll is a testament to the chef’s creativity, delivering a burst of flavor with each bite that truly lives up to its explosive name. The perfect blend of spice and crunch makes it an unforgettable dish for anyone who appreciates a little heat. The Ninja and Samurai Rolls are masterpieces of culinary art, embodying the essence of their namesakes with stealthy flavor profiles and bold, decisive tastes. The Ninja Roll, with its subtle nuances, sneaks up on your palate, delivering a delightful surprise of textures and flavors. The Samurai Roll, on the other hand, commands your attention with its robust ingredients, perfectly balanced to offer a satisfying and hearty experience. The Spicy Tuna Roll is another standout, offering a fresh and fiery take on a classic favorite. The tuna’s freshness is the star of the show, enhanced by just the right amount of spice to elevate the dish without overpowering the delicate flavor of the fish.Aside from the exceptional food, the service at 3Go Sushi is equally impressive. The staff are courteous, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and valued. Their attention to detail and genuine care for customer satisfaction adds a warm, personal touch to the dining experience. The cleanliness of the restaurant also deserves commendation. It’s evident that 3Go Sushi takes pride in maintaining a pristine environment, from the dining area to the kitchen. This commitment to hygiene and cleanliness not only ensures a pleasant atmosphere but also reflects the high standards they uphold in every aspect of their operation.“
“Love this local Japanese restaurant! I had the Unagi bowl and hubby had the spicey Korean pork entree. Both came with miso soup, and were fresh and tasty. We got tempura vegetables as an appetizer. Husband got a mackerel sushi. It was almost closing time but the service was very good and fast. The server kept checking in with us. This is our go to for Japanese/Korean nearby“
“Sushi rolls, ramen, appetizers, everything is great. The atmosphere is great, casual and family friendly. I consider this is one of the best sushi restaurants in the Escondido area.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian ramen, absolutely delicious.Kid-friendliness: They are kind and patient with kids.“
“I have never had sushi like this before! Sushi Yama has easily become my favorite sushi restaurant of all time. I've been to loads of sushi restaurants and none compare to Sushi Yama. I have even travelled to the homeland itself and the sushi in Japan is not as close. My go to order here consists of the Cronics. Shirmp Tempura, the des madre hand roll (secret menu item), the mamason roll (secret menu item), and Adam Ali roll. Each roll explodes with flavor and the freshness of the fish is very apparent. Just know that the portions here are insane and the value is great because of it. Service is also amazing here. I have never had any issues with servers or with my orders. Very friendly staff and definitely a place I will be going to weekly. Also leave some room for dessert, because the banana foster is fire and is enough to share with three or four people.“
“Regardless if you eat at the bar or the dining room- the food will be wonderful. I like to get a bar reservation when I'm in the mood for their unique sushi. I'm always treated to the freshest plates and epic service! The dining room is more limited. A three course dinner and an upscale atmosphere. You really can't go wrong. The Market is a place I frequent regularly.“
“My husband and I decided to try this place on a whim since we were in the area. While it is a little on the pricey side, the food is completely worth it. They have the best spicy tuna I have ever had. It wasn't about nuking your taste buds, but a pleasant warmth that enhanced the taste of the tuna. Definitely order the Luna Lemon! We will have to come back because we saw the table next to us order some takoyaki and it looked amazing. I do recommend making reservations for weekend dinner, it was busy there!“
“We were doing errands in the area and I discovered this great sushi place hidden right by some office buildings. This place looks tiny on the outside but is the perfect fit for a nice lunch. The decorations and environment really sets the scene for the sushi. They have a great layout for lunch and a nice menu full of specials and numerous rolls. The waitress was great and had plenty of recommendations. We ordered a few rolls as well as a lunch special for our table. The food prices especially the lunch special offers all come with miso soup, salad, and the prices are great! They cater a lot to the local businesses. The rolls and food were delicious. Highly recommend this place for a perfect lunch and dinner place! Check it out!“
“Umami Japanese Restaurant in San Marcos offers delicious food and a pleasant atmosphere. The food was very good, and the ambiance was enjoyable. I had a great experience dining there and would recommend it to others looking for tasty Japanese cuisine in the area!“
“Excellent rainbow roll. Perfect excellent Soft shell crab roll. AWESOME sashimi, ALL the sashimi was beyond tasty. Perfect. Shrimp tempura rolls were totally tasty and perfect. Sashimi came with the most interesting and wildly spicy wasabi I have ever eaten in my life.“
“Best Sushi in town. A bit expensive but that's what you expect for quality sushi. Service is incredibly fast. I've been there a few times now and they never fail to impress me. Always eat so quickly that I don't even have time to take a photo.“
“I ordered for pickup. I got the chicken pho, fries, and a rainbow roll. I’m very pleased with everything! The only thing I was not expecting was the fries were not plain…they were a little sweet and had fried garlic. Which was absolutely delicious! But I’d specify that on the menu just in case someone isn’t a garlic lover.Thank you! Will come again.“
“Me and my Dad frequent this spot, he does business at Palomar College. We've tried all the local Sushi restaurants and this is EASILY THE BEST.Today we had a Sashimi combo each, and I had 3 hand salmon rolls. We usually get a large Kirin each and a large sake to share.HUKU's fish is high QUALITY and the rolls are wrapped expertly. Get something with rice if you wanna get full, but if you are a fan of fish the SASHIMI and hand rolls are AMAZING.The COMPETING RESTAURANTS more EXPENSIVE despite the smaller portions and LOWER QUALITY fish. One local competitor has really cheap sake but it's exactly that, CHEAP and harsh. We think this is the "BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK" sushi in the area!“
“Our go to sushi restaurant in San Marcos!! Their staff treats us well. Always welcoming and happy. We love coming here bc they have the best rolls and our family truly enjoys this place for our sushi family dinner nights!! Our favorite rolls are the Ichiban roll, Twin oaks roll, Ahi Special roll, Chicken of the Sea roll. Oh and the house fried rice we always get as well!! All must try items. Thank you again to the staff who are wonderful people!“
“The food is solid here, and we love coming before or after a movie. The service was great, they were very attentive. I had a Philly Roll and a Salmon Roll with crunchies added. Didn't love the crunchies it was a little too much. Next time I will just order without it, as I was trying to do something different. My hubby got a spicy mutha roll and spicy edamame and loved both. My kid got the OG ramen with all the toppings in the side except for the noodles. He like the broth but didn't finish all his noodles, but he's six.The ambiance is pretty middle of the road sushi joint. Clean, and spacious. It does have a few TV's so you won't miss the game if you are into sports. We come here quite a bit when we come up here for shopping or movies so will definitely be back.“
“Used to be absolutely in love with Tabu however this last time I went back after years to a new location I've never tried and quality has definitely shifted slightly on the negative side. I still enjoyed my food but the old quality was missing. The staff seemed a little distracted and not on top of the tables. The atmosphere was nice though. I really enjoyed the decor.“
“Low key some of the best sushi I’ve had in San Diego. The ambiance is nothing special but the sushi is all to die for. The Blackedge and Midori rolls are my favorite and are polar opposites. Can’t beat Blackened Tuna ! Our Server Naelani was super helpful and guided our choices! Thanks to the whole teamVegetarian options: Cucumber and tofu optionsParking: Free parking in the lotKid-friendliness: Super family oriented restaurantWheelchair accessibility: Roll up access“
“Such a great dining experience for sushi and sashimi. The fish is so fresh and the rolls are so unique, you will not be disappointed! My wife and I came here and we were provided with quick professional service while also getting recommendations that exceeded our expectations! I highly recommend this place and we will be back!“
“The food is really delicious. We had the Udon with Tempura. Wow! Outstanding flavor. After we shared the fried green tea tempura dessert. OMG!!! Yummilicious!!!The atmosphere is very cozy. Our server, his first name, started with a T...he was very helpful with the menu and very kind.Definitely will be back soon for Undon Tempura and dessert...of course ?Parking: Easy parking...“
“This sushi spot is a great option for a speedy lunch or casual dinner. Their hour's are great: even opeb in-between L & D! They won't blow your mind w/ culinary innovation, but you get fresh, decent sushi in a clean & friendly atmosphere. The miso soup was a satisfying starter, hitting the spot with its savory warmth. The tempura was a bit standard but the gyoza pulled up their rating, but all still enjoyable. The sushi rolls were fresh BUT a little underl-constructed, nice choices. The the service & convenience are the best. The wait staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything came out quickly. Plus, with a good selection of draft and bottled beers, it's was a relaxing and hassle-free experience.Overall, this restaurant won't be your next special occasion destination, but it's a reliable choice for a quick and tasty sushi fix. I'll definitely be back when I'm in the mood for a no-fuss, fresh meal.“
“Recently tried Kokage and I thought it was just ok. We had the Spicy ramen, shrimp tempura, California roll, crispy rice with spicy tuna, and Agadashi tofu. Everything was fine except the crispy rice was not the best texture. The rice got stuck in your teeth really bad and the tuna comes in a ball. I wasn't a fan of the spicy mayo that came with it either. Might be back for ramen but not sushi for me.“
“This place was so AMAZING! Our server was Alex, and the customer service was fantastic. The chefs and server were both so kind and sweet! I would love to come back! The food was also delicious? We ordered King Crab Roll, Bulgogi Bowl with Rice, and Hangry Roll. Everything was so fresh and so flavorful! I definitely recommend this restaurant because of its perfect and tasty food, but also because of the kind customer service, and sweet, cozy environment!?? “
“Visited for the first time today during lunch. I had the spicy seafood ramen & lobster roll, they were both really good. I was in the mood for the ramen today but I want to try something from the lunch menu next time too. Definitely coming back & highly recommend!“
“I didn't start shopping here until all the inflation hit us, and it has been a miracle place for me. I wish I had shopped here before then. Prices are good and their bulk section is awesome. Hopefully some day they'll get curbside pickup“
“Nice place for Sushi, we ordered so many roles: Alaska Roll (In: Krab and Avocado. Top: Salmon and Masago), Dragon Roll (In: Krab and Avocado. Top: Eel and Avocado), Rainbow Roll (In: Krab and Avocado. Top: Assorted Fish), Garnet Roll (In: Krab, Eel, and Avocado. Top: Baked Salmon. Baked.), Dynamite Roll (In: Krab and Avocado. Top: Assorted Fish, and Masago. Baked.) and more different types of rolls. Nice sushi spot that my family and friends have been going to, through the years.“
“This place was SO BOMB for a buffet! The food was great, fresh and always stocked. The service was alright but I do not rate on service in buffets as I know the servers are tired and it’s always packed! A good amount of for the price. We paid 60 for 2 adults and 1 kid. Also they had enough options for my toddler to enjoy a meal as well.Vegetarian options: Veggie lo mein, hibachi veggie, green beans, spring rollsParking: We found a spot right away and saw more openingsKid-friendliness: Very good for kids and enough options“
“Shogun Tepanzaki Restaurant in San Marcos is an excellent special restaurant. They are large and contain about 9 grills. Our cook was excellent and very experienced. The food and the preparation was plentiful and flawless. They also have a small sushi bar or you can get a roll whine at the grill. Pricrs are high but normal and we will definitely return when in the area.“
“I like that this place isn't very busy so service and food is very fast. I get like a shrimp lover type of roll here. It's pretty good. Their kama salmon is pretty good. They have some deals on the menu but you don't save that much. I'd say their appetizers are good and the sushi us decent.“
“Eating sushi here was an exceptional experience! The restaurant had a fantastic selection of rolls and specialties. The salmon, yellowtail, and tuna hand rolls were especially amazing, each bursting with flavor and freshness. It was definitely a memorable dining experience. The service by Matilda, was amazing and the chef was fast and amazing.“
“All the food we had was delicious. We ordered chicken kaarage and short ribs for appetizers which tastes amazing, and then for the main course, I ordered the yaki udon, which tasted phenomenal. If you're not the biggest fan of pickled ginger, I would recommend getting it on the side, but other than that, everything was delicious and the service was super quick for a fresh delicious meal.“
