The quality of carne asada and chicken and the proportions in the Super Burrito and chicken taco are the best around. There's no fatty pieces. The lemonade is the best drink I've ever had.Wheelchair accessibility: There is no dine-in. There is a wheelchair ramp right next to the door, but the server meets you at the door and it's wide enough for a wheelchair. I'd say I would trust it
Best mexican food in Humboldt that I've found. I love their enchiladas and churros! I gave 4 out of 5 stars for the food because sometimes the quality of the food is not consistent. Other than that I love their business model- order online and when you pick up they bring it out to your car. I wish more restaurants did this. I recommend Esmeraldas to all my friends.

OMG. The best Mexican food in Humboldt County. Fresh, home-made flour tortillas that melt in your mouth and salsa that lights up your taste buds. Food is always fresh, tasty and delicious. I highly recommend.
