We are locals and come here as often as we can. We had a great time on Saturday enjoying the fun ambiance after the veterans parade. The band was very good although a cover charge was a bit of a surprise but we paid it. It was our intent to have lunch and enjoy, and we did! Once a year, I come up and help the owners of Tolenas Winery, Cliff and Lisa Howard, in Fairfield, California during the harvest and crush season. It's a pleasent break from the heat of the Phoenix area. My go to place is always, Wendys Filling Station! What a great find along the country roads of the Suisun Valley! The Filling Station in a perfect stop for lunch or a casual get together with friends. The service was very welcoming and friendly and the food was fantastic. The Filling Station has a great selection of local wines and plenty of beers to choose from as well.
