“This is a little store way in the mountains of Santa Cruz. It's not going to carry everything. The selection is really limited, but the people who work there, are great! Very friendly, and can help if that's what you need. It's a great place if you live in the neighborhood and need milk or butter, or someone to talk to. It's a cool little gem in the mountains..”

“Great little bakery with breakfast and lunch menu items and a cute collection of foodie items for sales. The ceramics they use are adorable. The wait time felt extremely long upwards of 30 mins to receive a sandwich. We got the biscuit breakfast sandwich though tasty it was incredible small and and lacking in substance for that price. The pastry options are wonderful with a variety of options that are ever changing.”

“Fried chicken meal always seems solid and usually provides some leftovers. Chicken strips on the other hand were terrible. They were tough, stringy and the coating blows. You'd think it would be the same as the fried chicken but it's not even close. Service is fine when I've ordered take out never stayed to eat.”

“We arrived during off hours with our 2 young, tired and hungry children and it was absolutely perfect. The manager put on a movie (the new Super Mario Bros), food came out fast and was exactly what we were looking for — overall we are so happy to have found this place and highly recommend it!”

“We ordered the Garlic Bread, yummy herby and topped with cheese and marinara was yummy! We ordered a Large pizza with white sauce (Ricotta cheese) pepperoni and pineapple. The ricotta cheese was smooth and delicious and the pepperoni was the perfectly saviry to go with the sweet pineapple. The ranch, I'm guessing in house was yummy! The vibe of this place was chill, and the lighting really set the feel and mood. Staff was lovely and the food was great! “Very friendly atmosphere, food came out fast and was dang good. Only negative I'd have to give is somehow by 2024 they still only take check or cash. So get ready to leave your table and walk to the ATM.Kid-friendliness: There's a kids section on the menu, quite a bit of options for drinks, lots of juices and it comes out in a Mason Jar with a lid and straw which the kids liked.”

“I've been coming here since I was a little kid! The food is super yummy. We especially like the carnitas, el pastor, chorizo, and brc burritos! The burritos typically are big enough for two. And those chips are simply the best. The restaurant itself is okay if you are in a hurry, but I highly recommend taking your food to go and eating your food in the park or at Henry Cowell. As for the service, the staff is usually happy to explain and make conversation, even when there's a language barrier.”

“We used to live in Santa Cruz and would make the short but out of the way drive to Felton just to eat here. Honestly, the best Chinese food I found in Santa Cruz! Fresh/quality ingredients, yummy and family owned by a super sweet family! Writing this review from San Francisco, where we recently moved to because I'm craving IWok! Even with the plentiful options here, I still reminisce about the crispy chicken, delicious veggie rice, chow fun, crab rangoons and more!!”

“Very cute little coffee spot at the “end of downtown.” I got the raspberry chocolate latte (iced) and my friend got the honey lavender I believe. We both sat outside in the sun on a beautiful day and just took in the planets while we nibbled on our breakfast. I couldn’t believe how much seating this cafe has! It needs it for sure because it was slammed on a Tuesday.I had the cherry bourbon scone and the texture was perfect it just wasn’t the flavor for me. My friend inhaled their goat cheese galette.”

“I find this restaurant to be a very sweet treat. It's the only place in town. I can find beef cheeks, if you've never had them you should try them. The most delectable mouthwatering, juicy meat falls apart in your mouth like butter. I miss when they used to have the pizza oven, but everything else is rather delicious so I'll let it pass. Don't be over sold by the squid ink pasta, it's not that great. Always order the Barada, it's super fresh and absolutely delicious”

“I feel like there’s an unwritten bay area vegan rule that if you see a GATS sticker or tag, the place is solid - this spot has 3 so you know it’s real, lol. For reals though this is a go-to for my wife and I, the crew are always so damn kind and they have mad vegan options. Come get you a not-chicken sandwich (don’t be an idiot and come here and get upset it isn’t real meat), some fries with vegan ranch, and any of the drinks- they’re all good. Then post up on the patio and chill. Also if they have the pistachio praline soft serve: do it. Twice. Not a giant menu but they don’t need one… everything on it is good.Dietary restrictions: Vegan / Vegetarian only restaurant, the staff is always on point making sure you get what you ordered if you didn’t want the dairy version (thanks guys)”

“We were blown away by the amazing food, service and atmosphere at Buzzo! We had the burrata and crispy cauliflower apps, and three pizzas! All were fantastic! Pizza crust is the perfect amount of crispy perfection! Great unique pizza flavors and traditional alike! Our server, Ellenore, was attentive, knowledgeable and provided great service! “First of all the restaurant experience and ambience is amazing. The food was all very good from the appetizer to the soup to the salad to the main entree's to the desert. But when you go to a special occasion restaurant such as this you do expect to have at least one thing that was the best thing you ever remembered eating. This is one of the hidden gems of Santa Cruz as far as high quality food, but expect to pay accordingly. Staff is there every day prepping even in their days closed and they receive fresh local ingredient deliveries daily.”

They're so good you don't even need any chili oil or anything.A few years ago I stopped eating chow mein because it was always sad cardboard, but here it's delicious and fresh!Did I mention the delicious soup dumplings?The tofu and celery veggie dish was different and tasty, the steamed bao was really yummy and the food all came out super quick.”
