“I am not a huge poster, and only do this when something really steps over the line from a really good experience to a truly great experience. There is a lot of good to great moves with Riley's taking over Hacienda, but my focus will be on Chef David's elevation of the food experience at Riley's. Chef David has added a burger, the Campagna Waygu burger, that quite literally could be the best burger in the Greater Sacramento area. Don't think it is only about this burger, all their food has been significantly elevated with Chef David at the helm in the kitchen. However, the Campagna is a masterpiece, with a near perfect compostion with the bun, patty, fixings, and sauces exquisitely paired in perfect proportion. This compostion leads to a flavor experience the blows the doors off any other "sit-down" establishment burger. The use of crispy prosciutto in lieu of bacon provides a salty, fatty, crunch astutely complimenting the melty, butteryness of the marscapone-gorgonzola cheese with a fig jam that rounds out the complex flavors with a perfect pinch of sweetness. Add in Chef David wonderfully seasoned Waygu patty that he and his team cook to a perfect medium temp, and this burger will head straight to the top of your burger list too. “This is my second review of this place.We went for Happy Hour. We opted to sit indoors. The place was not too crowded and service was prompt. All dishes we ordered were very good and tasty. “THAT DAM PLACE is a fantastic Cafe. Small but impressive. Starting with the waitress, Creta, sorry about the spelling, a most impressive personality. She related her experiences and the history of the Cafe. In discussing the history, I found that an old friend of mine was a partner of the Cafe. We had fun reminiscing and catching up with our current life. Knowing her love of Folsom and its history, I am positive that she will relate the good, bad and probably the ugly. Getting to the Cafe, I ordered the Cali King. Grilled chicken breast with mayo, lettuce, tomato, avocado, bacon & pepper jack cheese on a brioche bun. I choose side tossed salad, which was delicious. My friend tried the Bob Dole Burgah. Grilled 6oz burger with mayo, lettuce, tomato and Korean BBQ glazed pineapple slices on a brioche bun. She also got a side of Sweet Potato Fries. Everything was so delicious and so well cooked.Sorry, sometimes I forget pictures because of hunger. Next time and there will definitely be a next time.A fantastic combination of food and friendship.“
“Land Ocean is a nice date night, special occasion, or just looking for a good plate for brunch, lunch, or dinner. It gets busy in the evenings, especially on weekends. If you're looking for a nice date night or special day a reservation is recommended. We usually get the land ocean with king crab legs (they crack them for you, which is a plus), the calamari is okay (not as breaded and crisp as I'd like), the large side salad is a good split plate option, and the burgers for lunch are delicious, the brunch veggie skillet is delicious, and it is children friendly here.“
“They make some damn good pizza. Fresh AF and don't scrimp on the quality of their ingredients. We always get pizza from them every time we see them at the sunrise farmers market. Oven baked pizza. “We really enjoy our visits here, we have come by for lunch and dinner. It's a pretty chill place normally. We did come by on a Friday night and they had karaoke in the bar, which was fun to hear. The manager really helped us when had an issue with the food. The item was removed from the check and a glass of wine was comped. Really appreciated how quickly he responded. Whenever we are in town, this place is a definitely on our list.“

TLDR: Fairly good food with a few sour apples, service was strange, lots of events!Our server (who I guess was Magby from the receipt) was interesting to say the least. He was at our table often, but he didn’t seem very friendly / personable. Maybe an off night? Hard to tell.There were Bacardi representatives giving out free shots of their mango Bacardi when the fights began. Hey free alcohol is free alcohol - props to HOM for getting events like that set up.Fries seem like a place that could use some help. Our garlic fries were very soggy, and our friend’s sweet potato fries came out burnt first. Once replaced, the new sweet potato fries weren’t very good at all. The deep fried Oreos were also really bad. Soggy, no crunch and had very little flavor - disappointing as a dessert.Our grilled steak sandwich was the highlight of the night. It was amazing, lots of flavor and cooked to perfection. Would recommend 1000/10. “I am delightfully surprised to find this Kitchen at Barnes and Noble. I had the Caesar salad with Salmon, it was delicious but pricey. The drink service is from the Starbucks cafe, so refills might be slow depending on how busy the cafe is. “Folsom location had great service. Vicky was very attentive and provided excellent customer service! It was obvious that she is a very diligent and a hard worker. Hopefully, her employer appreciates her. My husband had the Brioche French Toast with eggs/potatoes which he fully enjoyed. Unfortunately, we were unable to sustitute the meat portion of the meal with fresh fruit. They only offered potatoes for a sustitute. We were told we would have to pay extra for the fresh fruit. I had the Veggie Omelette. It was fresh and tasty.“
“Love the outdoor live music! Even in the Winter, it's been nice spending time on the fully covered patio with heat lamps and fireplace tables - they even have cozy blankets if you want. Did not feel rushed to give up a table/ felt comfortable staying a couple hours for the music and a non rushed meal.“
