We have been to eat at Rice Express twice in person and have gotten takeout from them once. It is a very clean restaurant and conveniently next to 99 Ranch, so every time we do a frozen dumpling or noodle restock, we stop by Rice Express for lunch. Both times, my husband and I ordered their noodle soups. The food here is absolutely delicious and the customer service was top notch! We ordered 4 dishes- Thai basil eggplant with tofu, beef chow fun, Szechuan pickled sour noodle soup, and sizzling beef- all 4 dishes were deliciously flavored, infused with the smell of wok hay, and and absolutely delicious! Been coming here since 2007 (on and off due to moving to Natomas). The food is as good if not better now than it was then.. I got the dinner special for 1.. The wonton soup is delicious, I've always got the Mongolian beef and I substitute the pork fried rice for chicken fried rice. ? ? This place really doesn't get enough credit for how good it is.. Plus we got 5 star service.
