“My boyfriend and I stopped by for a quick bite, and let me tell ya, it HIT THE SPOT! SO Delicious and fresh! The server was so friendly and I love the decor of the umbrellas hanging. Definitely will be stopping by next time I’m in Fontana.“
“Had a really great experience all around. The food was exceptionally delicious and can really taste the authenticity of Indian food. The location had a great ambiance. They had traditional Indian music in the background and the decor was lovely. Our host Sonny and M.K. we're awesome and really took care of us. They guided us to on what and how much to order and it was perfect. I took my mom and aunt there to celebrate their birthdays and they let us take our own cake and stored it in their fridge until we were ready to cut it up. We will definitely be going again!Wheelchair accessibility: Two handicap spaces right in front of their location with ramp. Very accessible.“
“Went with family for dinner and loved the entire experience. The space is clean and the service was great. Everyone was professional and helpful. The food was amazing!! Everything was well seasoned and fresh. The portions are also shareable/family size, so keep that in mind. Overall, I’d recommend and I can’t wait to return.“
“Great place, Food is always fresh and hot I have been coming here since they opened and never been disappointed. Sukh always provides great service and super attentive I highly recommend this place butter pizza is my favorite along with their spicy masala wing and mango habanero can’t go “
“My carpooler was in the mood for curry after a long commute and Kaur Cafe was on the way. It's a small space and we were given plasticware and paper plates, but maybe it had to do with us showing up at 3pm... I don't know, but I didn't mind. The service was super friendly, quick, and it hit the spot. The curry, naan, and samosas were par for the course, but the chicken kabob was by far my favorite and I will return specifically for that dish, and to support this small business.“
“Spice Jar: A Tale of Two Worlds - Delicious Food, Bumpy ServiceMy Spice Jar experience was a curious tale of two halves: foodie paradise on the plate, and a bit of convenience store chaos in the air. Let's delve into the delicious first. The Food: Oh, the food! It was a vibrant tapestry of pungent spices and aromatic flavors. The lamb vindaloo (7/10) wrestled with my taste buds, offering a great flavor profile but leaving me yearning for a more intense fire. The chicken tikka masala (8/10), however, hit the spice sweet spot perfectly. Rich tomato gravy hugged tender chicken cubes, each bite an explosion of comfort and warmth. The goat biryani (9/10) was a revelation. Fluffy rice studded with succulent goat, aromatic spices, and caramelized onions – it was a symphony of textures and tastes. And the samosas (10/10). They were golden titans, crisp and flaky on the outside, bursting with spiced-potato goodness within. A single bite transported me to bustling street markets, a testament to their authenticity. The chili garlic naan (10/10) deserves a standing ovation. Fluffy, chewy, and infused with the perfect blend of chilies and garlic, it was the ideal dipping companion. Every morsel begged to be scooped up in its warm embrace. The Service: Now, the service (6/10) was a bit of a bumpy ride. Tucked away in the convenience store side with the main restaurant closed, things got a tad hectic. Orders got mixed up, wait times stretched, and the overall ambiance lacked the charm I expected. I give the staff credit for handling the unexpected rush with relative grace, but it took a bit of the shine off the dining experience. The Verdict: Despite the slight service hiccup, Spice Jar's food shines brightly. The bold flavors, generous portions, and exquisite textures left me wanting more. If you're chasing a spice adventure, and don't mind a touch of quirky ambience, Spice Jar is worth a visit. Just be prepared for a potential convenience store detour!“
“Best Indian take out food in the nation. I have been to hundreds of Indian restaurants in the country but these guys really know how to cook North Indian food correctly and the best quality of food. I visit them everytime when I’m in the area.“
“I was so excited to go back to Desi Aroma. I just ordered a Chicken Tikka Massala pizza 3 days ago. I knew it was going to be great based on the reviews. It was the BOMB! just had a regular pizza with Canadian Bacon. I'm still salivating. Love this place!!“
“This is home cooked meals. And dont let that make you think small of it... ITS GREAT.Get food from here.. take it home .. sit down on a table and put them on a plate and enjoy. It gave me the feel of eating homely food cooked at home. Its was really made with a lot of love for people.“
“I found my new obsession! The food was the perfect spice and flavors. So good!! Akor, the woman at the front, was so kind and helpful. Good sized portions.Vegetarian options: I got all vegetarian dishes. Navraton korma and aloo gobi. My new favorites! Yum!!!!“
“Inside the Lee's sandwich store Fri-Sundays btw. Was confused on whether they replaced Lee's entirely but they haven't. I got the Masala Dosa which is a curried potato mix inside a warm dosa. I've never tried dosa before so I have no clue how it's supposed to taste but it was delicious and fairly large for the price as well. Comes with a variety of sauces to dip it with. Very yummy so I'll be coming back. I do wish the menu had pictures or descriptions because it was a little confusing as a newcomer but the person at the counter was pretty helpful.“
“This place is great for vegetarians! They have 6 vegetarian and 4 chicken options already made and available with counter service. The owner or manager encouraged us to try 4 of the vegetarian options before we ordered. He was very friendly and so was the worker! A 3 entree combo with rice and Naan was $13.50, and the huge vegetable samosa was $2.50. We both were full after splitting the meal. We will definitely be back!Vegetarian options: Lots of options, especially with paneer. Entrees are $15.50Dietary restrictions: Vegan roti. The owner asked us if we were vegetarian or vegan, so there are probably more options.“
“I LOVE this place so much. As an international student craving home food constantly, this place has become my favorite spot for home food that's fresh and healthy. Reha aunty is the sweetest person I know The service is amazing and so good for price! Honestly so glad this place exists because I eat here most days of the month. There's an indoor seating that's perfect for when I come here with my friends. The ambience is homely and just enough to destress from a long day :)“
“Family owned and run. Limited menu selection and price to serve students at UCR. Spicy items are sinus cleansers. There's a wall of spice if you are up for a challenge.Vegetarian options: All Paneer curries, Gobi Manchurian, Chana Masala, Potato & Cauliflower curry“
“For a food court I’m seriously impressed. Had the beef bowl I substituted the rice for salad. It was nice and fresh. The beef was son tender and flavorful if you like spice ask for level 10. The samosas were good the chutney made it better. Mint lemonade was excellent it reminded me of mint julep from Disney except this was less sweet which is perfect for me. Keep it up y’all“
“Lunch buffet is available again! All the food was quite delicious. Both vegetarians and non-vegetarians are satisfied. I enjoyed six types of curry (chicken, chicken tikka masala, palak paneer, dal makhani, veg korma, aloo gobi), pakora, tandoor chicken, two types of dessert (carrot and rice pudding), salad and fruit. Served garlic naan was also great. In addition, the ethnic interior improved my appetite. The price was $18.50, which was reasonable for the food quality.I believe that Punjab Palace is the best Indian restaurant in Riverside and would like to revisit.Vegetarian options: Curries for vegetarians, vegetable pakora, sweets, salad and fruits are available.“
“Love this place!!!!! I lived in india for 7 years and know this is good Indian food, esp the South Indian food. ;) ;) love coming here. Only sometimes it seems like they aren’t ready for customers but aside from that they do a great job and their food is really great. Thank you!“
“There is no other Indian restaurant worth going to other than Taj Cafe.My wife and I have both grown up in heavily Indian influenced areas and we both have agreed that this is by far the best Indian food you can get without going to Auntie's house.Service is incredible, the staff are extremely respectful and offer great recommendations if you are unsure of what you would like to order.Menu is extensive with over 70 items to select from, vegetarian, fish, chicken, multiple biryanis, and plenty of appetizers and breads + a full Tandoor menu. The food is to die for. My wife and I drive 30 minutes each direction just for this restaurant. If you appreciate and value a quality Indian meal you will not have better food than here at Taj Cafe.“
