“So so good!! Make a reservation!!! Service was great, restaurant is large with lots of windows. Unique Viet fusion dishes. We wanted to try so much more!! The coffee and non alcoholic drinks were good, but not amazing. But the food is a different story!! Would come back to try the rest of the menu!“
“This place is popular but I was able to show up and get seated without a reservation. It was a 10-20 minute wait on a Friday evening. I thought this place was going to be overhyped but in my opinion, it lived up to the hype! Our server was amazing, he was knowledgeable and had amazing recommendations based on our taste. I ordered the "Saltado" Shaken Fries and it was soo delicious! the meat was tender and the aji sauce was incredible and complemented the food. The ambiance was great and lively, definitely a nice spot to go with friends or a date :)“
“This was my first time dining in after getting takeout a number of times. The spring rolls are definitely the stars here and are always fantastic! It's nice to order a few and share at the table. The shrimp and eggplant are my favorites. The main dishes are good as well and on par with some of my favorite Vietnamese places in the area. The deserts/pastries are a bit of a let down and I would save desert for another place. The macaroons were on the dry side and the macarons were too sweet for me.Service was friendly and informative.“
“Love this place! Pho is excellent both in flavor and quality. They offer two sizes: small and large and both at a great price. Quality of the meat is good too. The restaurant is very clean, lots of seating and the owners are very kind. HUGE plus that they're open late! My boyfriend and I love that we can come here after he gets out of work and grab some food either to either dine-in or to-go. Highly recommend!!“
“First of hopefully many trips- ordered take out... The staff were friendly and prompt with getting my order. The raw living curry rice was Amazing! Got the pepper shrimp just to try something different- i was surprised at how much I liked it!Dietary restrictions: Vegan“
“4.5/5 starsCame here as part of an Instagram collaboration. My favorite items were the Vietnamese steak and eggs (super tender meat and flavorful sauce) and the Cajun seafood platter (tender crawfish, shrimp, clams, and mussels). The $4 extra for live/fresh seafood is totally worth it. The seafood platter comes with delicious bread, which was perfect when dipped in the sauce! The crispy calamari was delicious (batter wasn’t too thick). The hot stone pho was average. I personally didn’t notice a significant difference between pho in a hot stone bowl vs regular pho. My bf loved the garlic noodles, but I thought it needed more flavor. All the items we got I would probably give 5/5 stars except for the pho and the garlic noodles, which I would give 3/5 stars“
“Amazing and comforting place! I will always recommend this place when eating with friends, family, significant others, etc. Food is delicious, fresh, and good portion sizes for the prices. The complimentary dessert is delicious and warm as well. The staff is also very polite and welcoming. I also appreciate how delicious the food can be to go. Most places have their to go food not as good quality but I can taste the quality the same when dining in and when I bring it home. Give it a try!“
“Straight up the best banh mi you’re gonna get. They’re generous with all the toppings and meat that goes into each banh mi. The pork belly one is amazing but they have steak, chicken, all of it. They do sell other Vietnamese food and desserts as well. I like the sesame balls but haven’t tried much else. The pricing is a steal too — I’d pay a lot more for their banh mi but it’s awesome to see a business not be all about raising prices all the time. You can get a drink and a banh mi for like $13!Drive through ordering is easy but can get crowded. You can order online as well and just park & pick it up if you don’t want to deal with the drive through.“
“I have been here twice now. The customer service, the food and the vibe in the restaurant are all amazing. They explain everything and help me decide what I want. The food speaks for itself and I have fallen head over heels for the pho. Broth is like no other. Thanks for being amazing! 10/10!“
“This place has the best banh khot in town!! We ordered 2 banh khot tom and it was perfect! Crunchy, flavorful, and whoever had banh khot before knows that the gist lies in the dipping fish sauce. This place is good at both the banh khot and the fish sauce!! Highly recommend!!“
“Came here for lunch recently, loved the food! Highly recommend the Bánh Xèo (crispy crepe)—it’s crunchy and huge, and delicious! The Bánh Bèo Huế (steamed rice flour cakes with shredded shrimp) and Thịt Giò Heo Cuốn Bánh Tráng (cooked pork shank) were good too.Drink wise, this place doesn’t serve beer or alcohol.“
“My friends and I love this place! Vietnamese home-style cooking. Sooo comforting—the flavors hit the spot and remind us of home and of our childhood. My go-to here are the fish, ong choy salad with beef, the pea sprouts, and the fish in like a lemongrass sauté. They have a Japanese purple root soup which is not widely available even in Bolsa. We always feast when we come here.“
“What a wonderful experience. Very intimate ambience that was shared with friends and family. Be prepared, the dishes are brought out in paces, I arrived hungry but once I understood, I was able to relax and enjoy my company and when the each plate arrived, we would all take notes of taste, texture and try to spot out any familiar ingredients. Say hello to Chef Michael as their kitchen station is behind glass preparing our dishes.“
“Solid cozy spot for pho that won't kill your wallet! With pho these days at $12 and higher, it's always good to know which spots still have bowls at $10. For $10 you can get a tasty good sized bowl of pho here. They also have a ton of other options such as rice plates, and even hotpot! They offer a mini Tom Yum hotpot for one, only costing $15. This is a nice option if you're craving hotpot but don't want to spend too much or don't want to share. The few times I've been here, I've noticed it doesn't get too busy. This is good for us as we get faster service and don't have to wait much for food, but they definitely deserve more customers! Definitely recommend Pho K-Tea if you're in the FV/HB area.“
“Favorite dish of the night was the salted egg yolk pasta! Super flavorful, and different. Both clam dishes and fried rice had good flavor. The short ribs were kinda dry, the buttered crab didn't really have a buttery flavor, probably my least favorite dish“
“Went in there by mistake. But the food was good. I like the beef stew and the noodle soup. The beef stew tasted so flavorful. And the noodle soup as well. It's much more flavorful than Pho. It reminds me of Cambodian noodle soup. Now I don't have to go to Long Beach to get that noodle soup anymore! The Chinese donut was also a PLUS to eat with the noodle soup.“
“The live crawfish boil was possibly made in a Vietnamese fusion style which was buttery sweet spicy. The crawfish were fresh, firm, and great. The razor clams didn't quite seem as good, not sure about freshness but a bit salty. While the service is kind and fast, the food can be hit or miss. The atmosphere shows that it's still under renovation, the decor doesn't look to be finished just yet.“
“I enjoy the Vietnamse food here - mainly the rice dish with bbq meats. Servers were polite and patient. It was just our party upon arrival but after 5-10 minutes, the restraurant started to fill up. I came here before over the decade for graduation, dinner with friends etc. or just craving for Vietnamese Cơm Tấm/broken rice. It hits different. : ) Although they used to give out dessert at the end but I did not get that today. I did not even think to ask! This is tucked away from the busy Bolsa/LIttle Saigon area. If you enjoy Vietnamese dishes, drop by and try Cơm Tấm/broken rice. If you need something during your meal, just raise your hand and server will come. Otherwise, they give you the space and time to enjoy your meal. Once you're done eating, walk up to the front counter/kitchen area to pay your bill. Cash and Credit Card accepted. Parking: plenty outside. Restroom was clean.Walk-in welcome. No reservation needed but if you have a big party - probably good to call ahead just in case.“
“As a devoted fan of Vietnamese cuisine, I've had my fair share of pho across various eateries, but Pho Hong Long in Fountain Valley, CA, has captured my heart and taste buds like no other. From the moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a truly authentic dining experience. The star of the show is undoubtedly their Pho Dac Biet, a harmonious blend of savory broth, tender meats, and fresh herbs. Each spoonful is a testament to the chef's dedication to quality and consistency. The meatballs are succulent and well-seasoned, complementing the delicate rice noodles perfectly. What sets Pho Hong Long apart is their option to add eggs on the side. It's a game-changer, adding a rich and creamy texture that elevates the dish to new heights. The eggs are cooked just right, with a slightly runny yolk that melds into the broth, creating a luxurious and comforting meal. The consistency of their pho is remarkable. Every visit reaffirms my belief that they have mastered the art of pho-making. The balance of spices, the clarity of the broth, and the quality of ingredients remain unparalleled, making each visit as delightful as the last. Moreover, the restaurant maintains an impeccable level of cleanliness. The dining area is always spotless. In conclusion, Pho Hong Long is a gem within Fountain Valley's dining scene. It's a place where traditional flavors and modern culinary techniques coalesce to create a pho that's not just a meal, but an experience. It's no wonder it has become my new favorite pho restaurant. If you're a pho aficionado or just looking for a comforting bowl of goodness, Pho Hong Long is the place to be.“
“Stumbled upon this home in wall place. Wandered in and had one of the best banh mi I've ever had. Bread was phenomenal. Crunchy, soft, excellent flavor. Pate and butter was spot on. pickled veg and meats were comparable to what I had in Vietnam. Thank you ladies!“
“Been to this spot a few times now. Like it better than the OG spot because it's bigger and service overall is better. Definitely get the Banh Bro Chen as it's great for sharing. The Bun Bo Hue is pretty good here. I enjoyed it. It's not the best but overall gets the job done. Now the Mi Quang on the other hand was something that didn't hit with me at all. Maybe I wasn't feeling it that day but I wouldn't get it again. Overall food was great and service was fast and there is plenty of tables and seats!!! I'll be back for more Banh Beo Chen!!!“
“Dark chicken pho is the way to go. It’s the best pho ga in the area. The fish sauce they provide for dipping is heavenly. Generous with veggies and everything you need is provided at the table already. I love this place! It’s spacious too. The only thing is they charge extra on to-go orders.“
“Can you say "Kobe Beef"? Are you a carnivore? The meat quality here is excellent. If you are vegetarian you will not be disappointed. The purple basil is quite large, bean sprouts super fresh and crunchy. Hot pepper slices....yes please. Egg rolls? Get some!!!“
“Love, love, love this wonderful place. Food is amazing and the staff are the nicest people. I go here at least twice a week for Pho and egg rolls. Grab a prepackaged meal to go and heat it up at home. Sandwiches are delicious and freshly made. Lots of choices for such a quaint and cozy location. Go see for yourself, you'll be glad you did.“
“In general, we had an enjoyable meal at the Pho Nic. The fragrant rice and delicate chicken in the Hainanese chicken rice made for a delightful dinner. The spring rolls were tasty but didn't leave any lasting impression. The kids' pho bowl was decently sized and tasted, but overshadowed by their chicken rice meal. The interior was modern and contemporary, and the service was good. Overall, it is a good option for a tasty meal, particularly if you're craving chicken rice in this location.“
