“The dosas are good, served a little darker than expected but with plenty of stuffing. The service needs work, we ordered an appetizer and it came after the entrees we're served.Do not order the butter chicken, it was awful, very obvious the cook does not make even decent north Indian chicken.“
“We friends were meeting after a long time and wanted Indian vegetarian food. Hence we decided to come here. This is the first time we have been trying out. It's a self serve place as you will order first and pay then you can eat at the table or do a take out. If you sit and eat, once finished you will have to clear the plates etc. It's a small place, food was okay. We decided to have paneer thali and one of the friends had gobi paratha. We also ordered bajre ki roti since it's healthy and has fiber in it. The palak paneer tasted sweet, which is a rare scenario so I didn't like it much. The Rajasthani gatta curry was okay. Kaju Paneer curry was okay. I didn't find anything great or unique to call out. The service was good, the lady at the counter was very helpful who showed us the menu that was posted on the wall and shared what's available for drinks, etc. We didn't order any drinks as they have soda, tap water and mango lassi. It gave the buffet style. You have to use a paper towel for napkins as there weren't any available. I think this place is more of a take out business than a restaurant dining place.“
“I stumbled into this place and the nice sever Subash said I would like the sampler first item on menu and boy is he right! It is almost too much food for one person! The flavors are a wonderful surprise after a long day of work! Mint, curry, buttery rice thing lol, an herb doughnut I dipped into the mint chutney. A surprise of desert surgery almost a pudding with raisins. All for a out $13. I highly recommend this place. The 3 atmosphere rating is because I wanted to sit down and there are no seats or tables. They must have changed to take out only.“
“Irani chai and bun maska are really good and taste quite authentic. The other stuff is ok as well. The place is really small but brings in a lot of crowd-a good sign, but you're better off doing a takeout and eating in your car. Service can be slow during peak hours, if you order anything apart from bun maska and chai.“
“This place is new but it's quickly become arguably my favorite Indian restaurant in Fremont (and that's saying something given the amount of Indian restaurants in town). Every dish I've gotten here has been fantastic, and the weekly specials are amazing too. My personal favorites are the Kolhapuri Fish Curry, Balti Chicken, and Grilled Pomfret. I usually do carryout orders every week and I have yet to ever be underwhelmed. Couple that with the fact that the owner is incredibly friendly and the restaurant is clean and I can't recommend this place enough.“
“went for "Fremont restaurant week" and great they participated because would most likely never know about the place and would not go there. Food was great and will come back there for sure. Tried their deal meal and also other dosa from the card and both were tasty and it was fun to eat it too.“
“I tried mutton seek kebab and chicken kebabs earlier but today for a change I tried Chicken roll and Fish tikka. After first bite I went back to my Delhi college days. Same chicken roll taste as India and tikkas are always awesome. Our host Varun is one of the best chef in Fremont :) Keep it up ??“
“Special shout-out to the two women at Chaat Bhavan who made 10 aloo parathas for me today. They literally made my day with their authentic Punjabi style and perfectly stuffed potatoes. If you're a fan of aloo parathas, I highly recommend trying it.“
“Dosa Biryanizz’s Gongura Paneer Biryani is a comforting blend of tangy gongura and creamy paneer, delicately nestled in fluffy, spiced rice. Each bite offers a warm embrace of traditional flavors, masterfully prepared to create a soothing, memorable culinary experience.“
“Went to Wah Jee Wah for the first time. Gave me the feel of roadside restaurants in India without the grime and dirt. Line was long and the parties ahead of us were indecisive and took forever to order which was annoying. There's a huge menu on the wall so it would be helpful t9 know what you want before holding up the line. You order first and then you can sit right outside the ordering window, inside, or the covered patio. We ordered gol gappe, chicken skewer combo, butter chicken, garlic naan, and mango lassi. There was some confusion with the gol gappe. There's a cart in front and you are supposed to get a ticket to get the gol gappe. We never got a ticket and weren't sure of the system. We took our number and sat in the outside patio. The first item that came was the butter chicken. It was tasty, but then the rest of the order did not come for a long time which sucked because by the time the naan came the butter chicken was lukewarm. I wish they brought the dishes at once or all together. The garlic naan and chicken skewer combo was good. The special sauce with the combo is the curry from the butter chicken. The mango was lassi was not good! It was watery and very tart! I would not get this drink again. Staff was helpful and attentive especially with figuring out the goal gappe situation which we ended up going to the cart at the end of the meal when we were pretty full. Wish we got the ticket at the start so we could have had those first. Other than that the food was great and the serving staff were super kind even though they were super busy! I'd come back and try the chole bhature which look really good!“
“Sweetest people in the world and the pizza hits the spot had them all I love this place,Even more so the staff And it gets better going on up from the ordertakers chefs up to the manager, what a sweet doll!Quit searching Enough reviews just go and be happy. Yeah I was at the Roseville location today January 29, 2024Malcolm thank CP your the best!“
“Anyday the best Indian pizza in Fremont. They're service is fast. I have never sat down and dined.Usually I order and pick up. Their menu is amazing very diverse for both veg and non veg. I love the achari Gobi pizza and they're chicken wings. I have Done birthday party orders here and they are pretty quick. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a good India pizza spot in Fremont/ Union City area“
“Exceptional experience at Rameshwaram Cafe! The Indian-style breakfast was a delightful surprise in California. From perfectly spiced dosas to flavorful sambar, every bite was a journey of taste. The variety and authenticity exceeded expectations. Kudos to the chef and staff for such a memorable start to the “
“I visited Off the Record and thought it was a good restaurant. It had a nice atmosphere, and the service was good. But most importantly, the food was delicious. I would definitely go back. They even gave us free rice when we ordered an item for takeout.“
“The place that never disappoints! If you're craving for "Veg food".Dahi bhalla papadi chatVada pao - I don't know why name this tell them it is Vada pav. Better than Joshi, sorry!Schezwam riceAloo-pyaazDoesn't have Non-Veg so doesn't mess with our Veg Food which is great ?“
“First, good cuisine, then good service is how I roll! However, the food and service are also excellent.Five stars for the cuisine and five stars for the service; the owner was incredibly gracious.Try the tantrori wings, the delicious desi barbecue, and the dish ? if you enjoy something sweet.“
“We are absolutely delighted with Pranita’s Tiffin Service! We've been ordering for few weeks now and have enjoyed every bite. Menu is different every week, and placing orders on Sunday makes the process very seamless. We get the food delivered for a nominal fees and the food is always fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this service for any busy individuals.“
“Authentic Indian Street food experience. Great music selection. It feels like you are transported back to the streets in Delhi. Chandni Chowk is an old neighborhood in Delhi famous for its street food experience and this place has definitely recreated that vibe here in Fremont. Paani puri is excellent. Chole bhature were delicious and generous portion. Matka chai is served in clay cup and tastes like home. I was in San Jose for a quick trip to see family and went here for a bite. It was a beautiful experience being here. Thank you Chandni Chowk!“
“ Red Hot Chilli Pepper lived up to its name with intense food! I started with the pomegranate ginger ale and mango mojito which were both just soooo good. The pomegranate ginger ale tasted like it was made in house with heaps of ginger and a cool red color. It was a large portion for its price as well. The mango mojito was also very good with a concentrated mint flavor and loads of mango! It was rather tiny for its price though so I definitely reccomend the ginger ale more. Then we started with the Szechwan fried rice which was good. It wasn’t anything too special, but it wasn’t overwhelmingly oily like most fried rices are. It was a good vessel for the curry like dishes we bought. The Manchurian paneer was ok. The texture of the Manchurian sauce threw me off a little bit as it was a little gelatinous sticky, but it had a nice flavor and went well with the warm paneer. The honey chicken was also pretty good. The chicken was rather dry though and I didn’t enjoy the sauce too much, but again when placed with the fried rice it was still ok. Then we ended off with the fried ice cream which I would definitely reccomend as it was both unwise and tasty. With a crispy warm exterior and cold gooey interior. Tip: DONT OPEN THE BOTTLE AT YOUR TABLE it costs extra money I made the mistake and was stuck with paying $6 for some water:( Overall the food was nothing special, but their drinks were amazing and the service and ambiance were really cute especially for large gatherings so I would still reccomend to others. Enjoy!Vegetarian options: Manchurian Paneer and Veggie Noodles“
“The ambience is really good. Service is also decent. Food is okayish - we ordered honey chilli potatoes, triple fried rice, veg and chicken momos and chicken hakka noodles. The honey chilli potatoes and chicken hakka noodles were good . Everything else was average - chicken momos were bland.“
“This is a great place for Bengali Food. The taste in a word is great! Just like back home. We had the Shorshe Elish/Eggplant/Mutton. All were great tasting and very satisfying. In fact, had more food than intended because it was so delicious! Please control yourself when you are in this place, otherwise, you'll get a bulge in no time! :) The waiters were very courteous and helpful and food was delivered very quickly to the table! The place was clean, well-lit and homely. A great place I would say to enjoy Bengali cuisine with your family within a reasonable price range. The food quantity was just right. Would definitely go back and would ask anyone to give it a try if they like to enjoy Bengali/Bangladeshi food. Only gripe I have is that the menu is short which is good and bad. Wish they had some more of the vorta/vaji, but to keep quality I guess you have to limit the menu, I have been to places where the menu is a mile long and none of the items any good! But this place’s menu is short and sweet and executed flawlessly! 5 Stars!“
“This place literally sells one main dish, pav bhaji. If you're unfamiliar with pav bhaji, it's pretty much a curry with a side of bread. It sounds basic, but it's actually very good. I was a bit hesitant to try, but I'm so glad I did. Pav bhaji had lots of flavor, and the bread was warmed perfectly. Btw it comes with two pieces of bread and if you need more bread you can order extra. They also have cold pressed juices if you need some hydration. I do wish they had other items on the menu, but the name of their restaurant says it all, just pav bhaji. I definitely recommend coming by and trying pav bhaji if you never had it before :) Very quick service and plenty of seating.“
“Food is Kerala-style cuisine. For non-Indians, Kerala is a state in South India. The spice level is moderate and the food variety is different compared to North-Indian style food. This is my 3rd time visiting. Unlike many other Indian restaurants in the Bay Area, this place is clean and does not have a strong curry/spice smell. The bathrooms are also cleaned regularly. About 2 days ago, I went there around 2p and the place was full. Irrespective of that, we got our food within 15 minutes after we placed the order. The food was also fresh and tasty. Over the last 3 times I visited, the food quality has been consistent, and good. I heard the owners of the restaurant are not there to just make money, but also have a passion for cooking. I will highly recommend this place to anyone interested in trying a new Indian-style cuisine.“
“Everything is delicious. Customer service is outstanding rate 10 out of 10 pizzas are fabulous and it taste great. Also if they were open a little bit more later, it'll be nice because it's the only places where you can get no only place where you can get a pizza at 11 o'clock at night or 12 late night special.“
“We went for a weekend lunch. Food was really good. I loved their Bhel Thali, it was the Best Bhel I had in a long time. Kids didn't complain. I had to remove a star for their service cause even after repeated reminders the waiter didn't get me my chai..Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options“
“Ordered chicken jhol momos and chowmein to go yesterday evening. We came to Staples for passport photos and were so happy to see a Nep food truck. It was like dream come true lol food tasted authentic. kids loved it we loved it. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. This will be our go to place forever!“
“Bhimavaram Ruchulu has become my go-to weekend spot ever since I discovered it. I've been coming here almost every weekend, and it never disappoints. As far as I know, it's the only place in the Fremont area that offers such a fantastic buffet spread. The staff always make me feel welcome, and their efficient management of the crowd ensures a seamless dining experience. If you're in the area and craving a buffet, this is the place to be!“
“Our wedding was made unforgettable partly due to the exceptional catering we chose, Hyderabad Dum biryani. They offered a brilliant mix of traditional and innovative dishes that left our guests raving. The chicken and mutton biryanis stood out with their authentic flavors and perfect spice blends, truly capturing the essence of Hyderabadi cuisine. What set this catering apart were the special items not listed on their menu, especially the Hyderabad dum ka chicken, which was a crowd favorite, with its succulent meat and rich flavors. Indo-Chinese dishes like the gobi Manchuria and the uniquely delightful chicken 65 momos are arguably the best in the Bay Area. These dishes added variety and an exciting fusion twist to our wedding menu. The caterers delivered beyond expectations with their culinary expertise, making our wedding meal memorable. Highly recommended for their quality, creativity, and impeccable service!“
“Duuuude, this place was on point. The person who took our order was super nice & very hospitable. The pizza had HELLA chicken!! More than what you would get on any other kind of pizza. The mango lassi was just right too!Chicken Tikka Masala“
“I visited the Pakwaan restaurant in Fremont, California, and I very much enjoyed the dining experience. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the ambience of the restaurant was both friendly and inviting. The waitstaff provided prompt service. Overall, this is an excellent restaurant that I would highly recommend.“
“At last got a chance to try the food on this food truck ? Business hours for this food truck is 5pm-7pm everyday so make sure you are visiting in same time window. For me, A delicious, authentic Maharashtrian food search ends here.Tried traditional Vada Pav and it was delicious ? All Maharashtrian people will definitely love the taste. Vada was hot enough to eat & come with pav (dinner roll), lasun chutney (garlic condiment), fried green chilli and chopped onion and it makes it authentic tasty dish.5 Star for it to hit the authentic taste and keeping it intact in USA as well ? ?Traditional Misal Pav - I found it okay tastewise. It contained misal Tarri (hot curry), cooked moth beans, farsan (savory snack), chopped onion, fried green chili and Pav (dinner roll). Tarri was lacking with hotness and authentic taste. You still have room for improvement there as it's the main ingredient in any Misal Pav. All other ingredients were adding taste to the dish but not the way a Maharashtrian will look into it.Packaging was good and keeping ingredients separate enough to get added later.Overall experience was tasty and awesome. Must visit place. Try their other versions of Vada Pav & Misal Pav.Cutting Chai was very good. Try that too. Will give this place another shot to taste other things on menu.“
“I kept driving past this place and finally stopped in. The reviews don't lie! Then roast pork is so good!! The skin is crispy perfection and the pork is seasoned so well. The roast duck is also really good and comes with a sauce. I grabbed the last of the roast pork and the last of the bbq pork buns that Yelpers said was yummy. My hubby and I grew up eating those from places off Clement Street in SF and are our fave. He said he's had better in SF, but these were the best he's had in the East bay. The owner is really nice and she was very welcoming. They've been in business for the last five years!“
“Even though the sambhar was a little watery, the Dosas are the best part about it. Dosa & idli taste homemade and really delicious. ? we had plain and Andhra kara dosa..with vadai and ildli's.I hope the sambhar gets better..but all in all great experience. Not crowded in the morning.“
“Definitely the names itself says what we need ?Halal is posted on the entrance and the menu. Food is of course great desi food. Especially soft Naans ?the folks workings their are from Lahore Pakistan probably and they are friendly though. They gave me complimentary tea as well. Dining area is enough for even big families. Parking ASAIK is just on the street. They have prayer rugs as well. Overall definitely recommended. “
“There chicken biryani is awesome and out of this worldBut it is hit or miss, often the catering biryani is betterI wish there is way to know when they make fresh biryani, so I can order it at right timeWhat's the best way to get fresh chicken biryani? Don't tell me you make fresh daily, that's true; but getting it the time you finished cooking va couple hours later makes the big diff“
“If you want authentic North Indian food with what looks to be healthier than what others offer then you should try this place. Their veg burger is amazing and a must have, we often get paneer Kathi roll, chicken Kathi roll and other snacks as well. Food is genuinely tasty.“
“Delicious food served in an authentic Rajasthani atmosphere. The platinum Thali was a revelation . Daal bati choorma was soft , soaked in ghee and flavorful with extremely mild spicesThe traditional Rajasthani vegetable dishes and daals are allCooked in pure ghee and with a very low heat indexThe highlight at this place is the monster Thali’sThey are able to combine 2 or 4 Thali into one monster family thaliThe turbans are a fun addition for some good family picsThe desserts are out of this worldPerfect place for a family celebration“
“The food and the service was amazing! we ordered the pav bhaji, Manchurian, katappa sandwich, Szechwan noodles and chaat and everything was delicious. workers are also super friendly and welcoming! Highly recommend! I never have left a review for a place and so this says a lot.“
“We catered food from Biryani junction Newark location. Madhu helped us with finalizing the menu. The food was excellent. Mughlai chicken phenomenal. Biryani ( Veg and non veg), chicken 65 , gobhi Manchurian , Dal maakhani were alsogood. The Sago kheer was awesome too. They topped all the trays and gave us extra biryani. Tea was good too. They delivered the food on time and helped set it up. All our guests were raving about the food. I am usually stingy while giving reviews but this was kadhchi tod khaana. Highly recommend them.“
“Jay and Aloo were amazing. Jay opened the door for my mom, Aloo was very attentive. They suggested new food for us to try, the bhatura was delicious. The food they cook is definitely made with art and caring love. There is plenty of parking, we are coming back with our entire family next time. Thank you so much for making us feel at home.“
“Great food as always. We usually do a take out from this place but this time dined in to try their fresh naans. Food as always had real authentic Indian flavors and was neither spiced with whole spices or oily (like some Pakistani places around here). The highlight were the naans (plain and garlic), they were same as the ones you get in India and fresh from tandoor.Saag chicken: 5/5Naan: 5/5Allo parantha: 5/5Lamb kebab seekh: 3.5/5 (was fresh but not very flavorful)Chicken wrap: 3/5 (chicken was flavorful but dry)“
“Awesome Indian pizza! Super tasty and flavorful, tasted very fresh and had a nice spicy kick without being overwhelming. We ordered the medium-sized Vijayawada Paneer Pizza, and it was plenty to share between 2 people. My partner even bought a pizza to-go for her lunch the next day! I also ordered a mango lassi -- it was creamy and sweet and complemented the pizza well. Service was great! The cashier at the front was super nice and patiently gave us an overview of the popular options (of which there were many). We'll be back!“
