I was reaaaaaally hungry so I deviated from a further bahn-mi place and came across this one. I mean $5-6 for a sandwich? Hella affordable. I'm not gonna lie, I was a little surprised to see how grimy it looked when I walked in. The floor wasn't exactly shiny, the fridges were foggy and gray, and part of the menu is tattered and faded. We ordered a chicken teriyaki #19from the menu. This is one of the best Sandwiches ever! The Man at the counter was so nice and knowledgeable! He even let us try the veggies from the sandwich which was awesome! I do not know his name but he did say he had worked in Hawaii and he schooled us on the Vietnamese sandwiches which I thought was as really cool! Next time I'm in the Fremont area of course I will visit!

love love love this shop. has a no frills, authentic feel to it and it's the best bahn mi i've had in the east bay. the bread is so good. service is wonderful- they were out of spam musubi but offered to make it fresh for me. definitely check it out if youre in the area!
