Normally, I most likely would never return to a restaurant that used Styrofoam plates. I just can't stand them. But this place I plan on returning to repeatedly.The food was great. No frills, bang-for-your-buck Japanese food in downtown Fresno. Friendly staff and quick service. Plenty of seating, plates came almost cafeteria/counter style. Poke was very over-sauced (wished the fish was highlighted more, seemed to be decent quality but couldn't really tell with the sauce). Noodles and gyoza tasted fresh with hearty flavor. Easy metered parking nearby, though it can get busy during peak hours. Good option for an easy and filling meal.
