“I came here after visiting another ginko katsu in diamond bar because it was so good when I had it there. I was a little disappointed with the bento boxes, they weren't as good. the other location came with more side dishes+ pickled veggies. while it's probably really good standalone, i was kind of disappointed that it wasn't up to the same level as the other location :( however the atmosphere and staff is perfect!!“
“Many options. If you're looking for a japanese restaurant, I would highly encourage this place. Has rice bowls, bento, ramen, kids menu, and lots of sushi choices. The workers are very nice and positive. They have an age range of young to old, which can show authenticity. I personally went when it wasn't rush hour so food came out fast. Waiter checked up frequently to check on you if you need anything. All in all, I would definitely go back if im feeling of eating japanese food.“
“I really like this place, its the best ramen ive had so far, between a handful of other places. I feel like it has the most flavor. The sushi is also really good, good appetizers. All around its a great spot.Ive been here a few times and always enjoyed it.“
“Food was great and fresh, service was quick. Location is very small, but they’re making do with what they have I suppose. We got a poke bowl and a few rolls.. surprisingly the Philly roll really stood out. Simple roll, but it was excellent!“
“Food:Udon - 5/5Sushi - 4/5Shrimp Tempura - 5/5Been going to this place for almost ten years and still is my go to udon place. I usually get a sushi set with it and it's fresh. Service: 5/5Ambiance: Not really extraordinary but it isn't dirty or anything bad either.“
“This one of my favorite sushi restaurant. I like the friendly environment here and also the music. I always order sunrise, mango no5 and my favorite one is Panic Attack. And I also like salmon and eel of this restaurant. Tommy and Ono is the best sushi chef I have ever met. And the service also very good too. I will definitely come back to eat at this restaurant many more time for sure.“
“This was our second time here and both times we had an amazing time the waiters were absolutely amazing and friendly. Both times helped us with taking our pictures and even told us what to hold to take pictures. Went above and beyond for us. Went there tonight to celebrate my birthday and the sale bomb was delicious. The ambiance was very relaxing. Thank you to the staff for going above and beyond to help take our photos with my husband.“
“Always good food. The waiter was somewhat aloof and left a little to be desired. And, just as a heads up, music should be playing very subtly in the background. Not so loud that it makes it difficult to have an intimate conversation. I nicely asked the waiter twice if he could lower the volume. He complied the 1st time but not the second. It really made it a less enjoyable experience.“
“Did you know that there lies a quaint sushi place that has become a favorite among locals and visitors alike? Now, you do! Kyotori has a warm, inviting vibe. It offers a casual dining experience that doesn't compromise on the quality of its dishes. The menu has an array of sushi options, from the classic rolls, nigiri and sashimi to more innovative ones that cater to both traditional and adventurous tastebuds. Each dish is prepared with the freshest ingredients. The chefs take great pride in their creations. The Jalapeño Albacore Roll and the Scallop & Lobster Baked Roll stand out as must-try dishes for any sushi lover. The Jalapeño Albacore Roll has excellent balance and flavor. This roll blends heat and delicacy in a way that enhances the fish's natural flavor without overpowering it.The Scallop & Lobster Baked Roll is a luxurious indulgence and my favorite! This roll is generously filled with tender scallops and succulent lobster, then topped with a creamy, savory sauce before being baked to perfection. It is a comforting dish. The seafood is cooked just right, maintaining its juiciness. It's a dish that both comforts and excites, making it an unforgettable part of any meal at Kyotori. What sets this restaurant apart, however, is not just the quality of its food but the exceptional service. Dave and Thinh went above and beyond to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, making diners feel valued and appreciated. Whether you are a sushii connoisseur or a newcomer to Japanese cuisine, Kyotori offers an enjoyable meal that promises to leave you coming back for more!“
“Great quality, friendly atmosphere, definitely going to be a regular!A hidden gem in Garden Grove. Japanese owned omakase that focuses on seasonal offerings. Ben and Ayako make you feel welcome once you walk in those doors. The menu is hand written and you can see the focus and care that Ben puts with each piece of nigiri. If you want to come and get a bite, make sure you make your reservations at least 2 weeks in advance.“
