My hubby & I were visiting someone @ the Adventist Hospital & happened to stumble upon this restaurant. Decided to stop , I had the fajitas combo, the hubs had a carne asada combo . The hubs said his carne asada was dry & tough, my fajitas were chewy and bland. Also, had a piña colada, which the piña tasted like it had frost bite ! Over all would not recommend this restaurant!!!

As one of the last Acapulco restaurants still standing, I'm glad that you family and I got to have a good lunch at this place. The food could have used a little more seasoning, but our experience was great overall. I would recommend this restaurant!
Excellent casual Mexican restaurant! We went on Valentine's Day and thought it would be a madhouse but the service was excellent. We had a reservation and were seated right away. Our server was very good and the food was delicious. We hadn't been there in years. Fun atmosphere!

Hello restaurateurs, and Director of Operations Gustavo Plascencia:Recently I visited ( on a Monday evening) the Glendale location.I used to eat quite frequently at Acapulco restaurants back in the day ( 10 to seven years ago ).And I feel de need to share that as a well known Michelin mexican chef and critic, I was greatly disappointed about the food at Acapulco restaurant in Glendale. The chips and salsa were delicious, only. The margaritas ( $3. ) very tasty but clearly just about two drops of house tequila. Now, the food, which is the core of a restaurant, was a huge disappointment to me. I expected the food to be more on the authentic level as it used to be.All the food I ordered was a disaster.I recognize currently restaurants try to keep menu prices at a reasonable level, and at the same time keeping the quality of their food as high as possible. The fried taco I ordered had a corn tortilla from a box!The shredded beef was from a stew, and not from chuck roast ( pulled beef), and very tasteless. A huge disappointment. The enchiladas' sauce was definitely from a can and completely terrible testing, very far from authentic. The sopes filling not tasty at all.* In my opinion the chefs there, have lost "their touch", which is typical and common from a mass production of generic food.I will not recommend this restaurant.BVD-B

We were gravely disappointed in their food and service. Everything seemed disorganized. We got our main dishes before our drinks and tortillas came out. Our fajitas got cold by the time our tortillas arrived, and they did not have a lot of veggies nor meat. At the end of our meal, someone threw up. And needless to say, we had to witness it. Overall, we left feeling dissatisfied but had to give them some credit for trying to makeup for the mishaps.

Not good. Meat for carne asada plate, and chicken tacos were quite dry and tough. Dont think they even marinate their meat. This location has really gone down hill and is more about quantity than quality.
