Unfortunately the food was not good. The king crab was flavorless even with the sauces. The shrimp was dry and sausage was not good, felt wet and had no taste. Probably the worst crab place I've been too. Only good item was the grilled cheese sandwich.

Not impressed! I've been here twice and both times I have left feeling the same way about my experience. Mediocre food and way overpriced for what you get... It's messy and I hate having to shell my food. You lose half of it in the process.

After reading the reviews I wasn't too keen. Nevertheless, I was happy to give Cracking Crab a try. Wow! Thankfully, it was not only a great finger-licking experience - crab with garlic butter - it was also comfort food in a relaxing atmosphere. My partner enjoyed fish with chips in a cajun spicy combo. Our server, John, made it the best. John made us feel at home, while he guided us through the menu with our wishes. Thank you, we hope to return and will certainly recommend

Service was good, open seating and found parking easily. Food looks appetizing but even with a combination of all of the seasonings food was still very bland for my liking. I left still feeling hungry unfortunately. Will not be returning here.

Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Food was prepared well, but not great flavors and not very healthy in my opinion. Crab legs were fine, but I think the menu needs a rewrite.

Did not care for their limp shrimp in a bag. I've had great New Orleans barbecued shrimp many times and this is not it. They should not advertise themselves as cajun or New Orleans style food because that is an insult to the great food of the south. I would call their version "shrimp slop in a bag". It was so disappointing because I was in the mood for cajun food. I guess I need to go to Harold and Belle's, or Emeril Lagasse's. They also have a very limited menu. Their are so many establishments like this place who think cajun food is everything thrown into a bag with sauce. They should just start their own cuisine and call it something else. I couldn't eat it..just disgusting.

This place was an unexpected HOMERUN! I came here to celebrate a dear friend's birthday and we intentionally picked a place that could be kid friendly as we had 3 boys ranging in ages 8, 9, & 10. The restaurant was spacious and a bit mellow since it was a 5PM dinner on a Sunday. But it was perfect for us as the boys got their own kids table and the adults sat a table in front and everyone truly had a blast. I was gleefully blown away at this restaurant because I've been around to try the other Boiling Crabs, Crabby Crab, etc. So I had minimal expectations as all the other ones I've been to were good but not GREAT. Then I tried Cracking Crab last night and you can throw all the other similar joints out the window. HANDS DOWN this place WINS for being the BEST! The crab was juicy, tender, and moist. The mussels and peeled shrimp marinated to perfection. I know the biggest trick to it all is their "CRACKIN MIX" which is the combination of All their spice options you could choose from. I am truly an avid fan and I get hungry thinking about going back. We got the following below: COMBO 3 -CRACKIN MIX (ALL SPICES) -BLACK MUSSEL -PEELED SHRIMP $2 -GARLIC BROCCOLI $8.95 -CAESAR SALAD $7.95 -COLE SLAW $4.95 -GARLIC NOODLES $10.95 -2x CHICKEN TENDER $25.90 w/ FRIES -STEAMED RICE $2.50 -2x sparkling water $6 -1 Ranch $.75 Nom...Nom...Nom...feed me!

Extremely surprised at how good their shrimp po boy sliders are. Fish tacos were gigantic and delicious. Totally need to go back to do the crab combos next.

We got a combo, which was good. But the temperature of the food was not hot and did not seem right out of the stove range. The food wasn't cold but rather room temperature, which made me wonder if it was sitting somewhere in kitchen for awhile. I would have rated the restaurant 2 stars, but I gave it 3 stars because service was good. Our server acknowledged mistake in one of our orders and they provided the correct dish in addition to allowing us keep the mistaken dish.
