It’s all true - hype is real. Get the Fairfax with bacon + truffle hashbrowns. Honestly probably the best breakfast sandwich I think I’ve ever had.

I went a long time ago and it was just alright to me (coming from NYC and the famous BECs). But I gave it another shot when I moved here and wow, it did not disappoint. The sandwich was very filling and the egg yolk was very, very orange. This is a good thing and speaks to the quality of the egg. The egg was also perfect insofar as the yolk structure was preserved when placed into the sandwich and melted over the sandwich upon biting. The truffled hash browns were also a highlight; it takes the McDonald's hash brown and turns it up to 11.There is an imitator restaurant in Berlin called "44 Brekkie" which, while cheaper and with EU-standard ingredients, is nowhere near as good. 44 Brekkie presents itself as more of a cafe, but the sum of its parts is still not as good as Eggslut. My only issue with Eggslut is that the food is quite expensive and therefore not good for a daily occurrence.Vegetarian options: It's very easy to turn any dish here into a vegetarian one. Vegan is probably much harder considering their usage of butter and heavy slant on eggs.

The person taking our order was super high energy, very friendly, and used a lot of humor to engage us. This is my first time here and we got a bacon and egg sandwich, the most popular sandwich, and the hash browns. This was overall an excellent experience, though I love eggs! The hash browns were tasty, the sandwiches were well balanced, and the eggs were cook perfectly, as I think they should be at a place that focuses on eggs as their primary product. I would definitely come here again for breakfast or lunch.

It's all about eggs! New twists on common egg sandwiches and unique egg creations. If you are looking to eat dome egg centered foods, this is a great place to look.We enjoyed our first visit and will return if circumstances bring us another opportunity, as there are no locations near our home.

There was thankfully no wait when I arrived around 11 AM on a Wednesday.A bit pricey for the 15 minutes of bliss I had inhaling my sausage, egg, cheese, bacon, avocado breakfast sandwich. The bacon and avocado also seemed to just be added on and tasted a bit cold, rather than the sandwich being a cohesive whole.Truffle hash browns were bomb dot com, though.

My 8-year old is making me review this place and give it 5 stars because he loved his scrambled egg and cheese sandwich so much (it was not on the menu but they did it for us). I got the sausage, egg, & cheese (scrambled instead of over medium) and it was also delicious…5-year-old ate most of mine so we ordered an extra. On the pricier side so this is really a splurge place but it’s good!

Not sure what the hype is now that I've tried it. Sandwiches were decent but achievable at home. The truffle hashbrowns were admittedly good but over salted. The sauce in the Fairfax was also incredibly salty compared to the other one we tried.

This place never disappoints. I have only been to two locations and the food and service are super consistent. If you're a lover of eggs, this is a must!!!
