December 2023 - If you're going to use store bought chips and sell nachos for $9.00 at least use the good kind. Mexican supermarkets sell bags of chips that they fry themselves. The chips were stale, not worth $9.00First of all, just because you add "El" to something doesn't make it Mexican. Second, how are you going to sell "Mexican" snacks and not know the real names. We went in asking for chicharrones and the lady had no idea what we were asking for. She knew them as "wagon wheels". Talk about lame! Lmaoooo. Third, their ice cream sandwich is made from the Gandma cookies that you buy at 711 for $1.00 and they sell them for $5.00 PLUS TAX! GTHOH!!! You're better off going to El Mercadito in East L.A. for REAL authentic Mexican snacks with people that actually know what you're asking for. Hit me up if you want me to teach you how to make real esquites DF style, you're going to love them ?

I got the tostilocos and added mango and cojita cheese and my husband ordered the mangonada but half mango and half cucumber. It was the absolute best !

I cannot recommend this business enough! First, let's talk the food, look at the menu and you know exactly what you're gonna get! If you've got the munchies and feeling generous. You can always order Uber eats! It will support a driver like me :) and honestly, I really do appreciate everyone that orders late at night! I always pick up orders from here sometimes park in their spot. They have never given me any problems, The staff is the most genuine group of people out there! They were always try to be nice and respectful to your mood. Honestly, they work hard late hours and still try to give you some hospitality.It's a vibe if you want to come and eat here, they have chairs outside until like 1 AM on the weekends. So you can come with some friends and hang out.

wish they had the flavors of the ice cream on the menu- walked in because they had Thrifty ice cream sign on the window and we asked for the flavors 3 times. They only had 1 employee and she was very busy trying to catch up on work. Tried the paletas because we felt was the safest option inside. This place is pricy so make sure to look around the menu before ordering!

so I placed an order on grubhub and to start off its expensive so you’d expect to get great things out of this place but instead I didn’t get the Tostitos chip on my tostilocos who sells tostilocos without the chipssecond I said no ice cream on the churros and they didn’t listen at all they added ice cream to the churrosThird they didn’t not add three more items on my order…Never ordering from here again
