If you don't like your job, don't work there (specifically the guy with the long hair working the window).. I've NEVER had an issue ordering food from El Pollo Loco but this visit was horrible as soon as I pulled into the drive thru... there was 1 car at the window, 1 ordering, and I was 3rd. Took 10 min to get to the speaker to order and another 5 min for them to acknowledge my existence and that was only after I had to say "hellooo?" I wasn't even bothered by this because because I wasn't in a hurry, but after dealing with the rude employee.... i won't come back to this location. No matter what fast food restaurant I go to, the rundown is always the same .. person orders a meal/combo, they ask your sides and drink. Basic. I ordered a 2 piece meal and get a long pause and a sarcastic "that's it?" I was caught off guard at the unexpected response so I said "well doesn't it come with 2 sides?" I get a rude toned "you didn't say you wanted a combo" I proceed to order my sides and a large drink.... he continues in rude tone that it doesn't come with a drink... (relax dude, separate charge, no big deal...) Once I finally got my food I realized there was no Tortillas so I figured maybe this place doesn't include them (and usually other locations ask flour or corn when you're ordering). I was just going to ask if they could charge me if needed and he replies "you never mentioned anything about tortillas and the only Tortillas we have are corn and chips" I AM DEAF AS HELL AND WEAR HEARING AIDS! If you're gonna give me a choice of tortillas... is "chips" really an option.... i understand they are tortilla chips but give me a break. He got mad at me for ordering "flour" because it wasn't an option he gave, but I couldn't hear what he said... but when the hell did chips become a Tortilla option?!... The guy threw his hands up in the air, showing how annoyed he was and tried to insinuate that I'm stupid... im deaf, not dumb. All I wanted was something to eat and instead I WASTED my time and had a HORRIBLE experience. Change jobs or change your attitude. Deal with your issues, don't bring them to work. Be kinder to people.

They were taking forever to take my order and there was only one car in front of me. When i ordered the lady told me 'sorry no more mixed chicken' so i ordered something else and they still messed up my order and they slammed the window hard in front of me, I feel like I wasted my time, never again. Plus they weren't wearing hair nets while working with food.

I ordered double chocken tostada salad and I literally have one piece of dried up chicken in the salad. Very bad service and they treat you on your food. I recommend go somewhere else. This is not right when you get home and you open a surprise bag just because I chose the wrong place and went through the drive-thru. The chicken is old and nasty anyway. I was just hungry. It's better to be hungry then some body take you as a fool and take your money and then laugh at you

The food is always good BUT this restaurant is freaking dirty! How the health department hasn't shut this place down is beyond me. The floors are disgusting. They look like they haven't been mopped in weeks. The pain on the walls is scuffed and chipped. This restaurant had a history of being dirty before and it cleaned up for a while. They are back to their glory days!

this place is something else . honestly all the workers there are so unserious. i understand how annoying customer service can be but wow. i always need to check my bag because 9/10 times they will forget something ! and everytime i ask for more than one sauce i will never receive them. like ? i cannot use those tiny little sauce cups on a whole bowl? be serious . this place needs so much work honestly. start fresh . new manager new workers because this place has the laziest group of people ever, i see why the reviews are so low. please just do yourself the favor and drive to the next closest spot because this one isn't it .
